The crazy thing about this is that its not even the worst casting news of the day. Rihanna is going to play Josephine Baker in her biopic.

Yeah I don't get all these ppl talking about Anne Hathway like she gave a good or memorable performance. She was a side character that was passable at best.

I thought she did well. She was better w/o the suit on though acting-wise but good overall. That scene as a maid when she first met Bruce and she did a complete 180, the part where she delivered the prints and she screamed and acted like the victim as the cops came in, when she asked Bats to leave and she says he has given him everything, etc... I found those very memorable performances by her.

It's really about people getting mad about her casting, saying she doesn't have the look and can't be sexy and that she will ruin the film. At the end, most loved the film and the complaints were on the inaccuracy of the film and all doubts on her casting were gone.

Them scenes you bringing up are making me want to use the word forgettable now and I saw TDKR like a month ago. That scene where Bats says he hasn't given them everything yet was just bad to me :lol: The scene where she stole the pearls and they were dancing was good though. Her role flowed with the direction of the story but I can't say she stood out as the character. I could've done without her and some of those Robin Blake scenes as well.

Now she wasn't a non factor like Amy Adams but that's simply cuz Catwoman played a larger role in the plot and ending imo.

I doubt Cobie will be WW since she's Maria Hill unless Marvel lets her out and kills Hill but I don't know if they're just gonna kill another SHIELD member in the movie for dramatic effect. Thing is she's also getting some play in the SHIELD show as well.

There was a thread for casting the JL heroes for the movie or just casting superheroes in general and I liked the choice of an unknown the OP made. At this point I think WW has to be an unknown yet really look the part.

Man you can't just keep raiding the Marvel roster for WW candidates man :lol: First time I'm really getting a good look at Sif, she looks beautiful and she would fit as WW. Oh well, I hear Sif plays a bigger role in Dark World too.

Ben Affleck will do just fine as batman.
I just hope they focus on other aspects of the character besides dark, dark, more darkness.
You'd think he was Charlie Murphy.
 
Jaimie Alexander. She played Sif in Thor.

Ryan Reynolds played Deadpool, Green Lantern, and is the leading contender for Flash last I heard so I doubt they truly care. Deadpool and Green are both very important characters for the universes they play. Granted deadpool was Fox. Not sure what Disney would have to say about it

But the overall darkness of bronze and modern age batman is pretty much what defines the character. In one issue regarding the court of owls they used a white background for the comic and it confused me. Hell it almost blinded me.

Sorry I'm not a Nolan fanboy. Hathaway's casting and role added nothing to the movie.
 
What comic films/characters HAVE you liked?

Because I've yet to see you say a single positive thing about any film we talk about in these comic threads.
