Whoa. Lets stop the slander. Bale is a great actor. The writing for Batman/Bruce Wayne just wasn't good for him in the Nolan trilogy to show any of his acting skills. All Heath Ledger had/has is that great performance as Joker and that's it. Yes it dwarfed Bale's Batman but at this point it almost seems by design when you see the gap.

At this point with all this delusional talk I'm hoping Batffleck does an amazing job as an actor and shut all these ppl up talking like Nolan's Batman was anything more than a tool to push the rest of the interesting parts of the story.

Y'all tripping.

Bruce meeting Selina for the first time near the safe was probably the best Bruce Wayne scene, period.

The idea that people are questioning Bale or Affleck at this point of both of their careers is absurd.

Wait, I forgot. This is the same board where people will continue to convince themselves that LeBron James isn't the best basketball player on the planet all because of blind hate. (Not even close to being a fan, but at this point, what's the argument? He's a super hero his damn self)

As long as the script isn't terrible, Affleck is gonna actually upgrade the movie. If the guy from Undisputed 2 and Expendables 2, the martial arts guy, Scott whatever, would have been Batman, that'd have been WORSE than Clooney. Clooney was on a Toy Commercial set with a terrible script and no supporting cast.

I'm actually glad they casted Affleck. It's about time Bruce Wayne is really a more physical presence.

Affleck is the man and there should be no doubts his ability to pull this off...He's the perfect Bruce Wayne too!

My concern is more of how they incorporate Batman into the movie. I don't want him stealing the show from Superman. These are his movies, dangit.

^ ^ ^ It's going to be Inception type of film but with time travel and alternate unvierses.... I can't wait!
I don't think his big head will matter. It's up to the costume/prop department to figure it out. My question is will they adapt Nolans batsuit into the new one though? Because I think head turning is essential in a bat film these days.
No thanks. Inception was garbage and those who enjoyed it need to stop chafing nolan's shaft. Only reason that movie did well is cuz it had Nolan's name on it

What, in the mother**** is goin on with this board?

Seriously, what, the hell? :smh:

Those Heath comments are pure awesome. Bunch of damn idiots with zero imagination.

^Why is a train rummaging through the city? Well because it is a dream within a dream within a dream.

Ohh wouldnt happen if it was just a dream within a dream. EXCELLENT WRITING! Just make sure the audience knows this is a Nolan film

Batman is my favorite super hero. Prior to this announcement , Ben Affleck was my least favorite actor. I can actually say he's a person I dont know but genuinely hate. This couldn't possibly be worse. I hope to God DC is trolling

Son thinks Inception was garbage? Too much anti for the sake of being anti. I'm not the biggest fan of Batman's Nolan trilogy but I'm not about to deny all of the great movies outside of that.

Seems you just got mad Nolan was getting so much praise so you're looking to call anything he does trash.

*Waits for you to say Memento and The Prestige was garbage too*

No. I was one of those who went to see inception because I expected better from Nolan. It was a garbage movie with no real substance that relied on a stupid audience to just take their garbage explanations about the films plot/environment for what it was.

Just say you didn't understand it and that's it. You're entitled to your opinion even though it's wrong.

Ohh I get it. It sucks. I even gave it the rare second chance because people were saying that same **** "everyone who hates it didnt understand it. Nolan is a god. DERP!"

Because its a dream within a dream within a dream is not an acceptable to answer to "but why?"

I'm sayin'

There's a problem when I can understand the movie better than your complaints about it.

Seems you're pretty lost with this kind of complaint.

Don't know why you think that couldn't happen in the first dream sequence. There's nothing that was said that couldn't happen.

I liked Inception. The concept of stealing peoples inner most secrets by entering their dreams, dream worlds which they subconciously construct in order to protect their own secrets, is an excellent premise. And I feel like it was done well. I don't know what is going on with todays generation. One whack line, one movie that was better all the sudden this movie is trash. Thats why I don't take many people my ages opinions seriously, they are constantly comparing this to that, as opposed to taking whatever and judging it on it's own merits, independent of some other movie you feel is better.

On that note, I think Ben can play Batman...I mean honestly it's not the hardest role anyway, Playing bruce wayne is where the actor shows his worth. Ben is an clever millionaire playboy, he can just play himself. He'll bring believable emotion to his board room scenes, him actually in the suit is going to look a little cheesy, but everyone who puts on that mask and voice look a little silly, nature of the character, looks better animated than in real life. Ben can act, most of the pressure will be on the director, capture the best of ben.
