Nah, not sure if I do either, but who knows?

Of course we all want to see Doomsday in this universe, but at this stage, just set him up for later... the main antagonist for the JLA movie.

He can definitely appear in BvS... but just a teaser... something like his his fist pounding through a reinforced door... just enough so you know that "Doomsday is coming!"

On paper it sounds great, Batman, Superman... Wonder Woman, Aquaman... Lex Luthor... even a cameo from the Joker... and now Doomsday...

But it still feels (as this whole project has since day one) that it's all a bit rushed... trying to squeeze too much into one film. Doomsday is not a character (imo) that you just "shoehorn" into an already packed rosta... he needs real development, his backstory needs groundwork, or else you're just gonna end up with "Batman Forever Bane"... if done properly (again, imo) Doomsday is one of the best, most tragic and most interesting DC villains ever, ideally a character that iconic, that important needs an entire film to explore his origins...

Doomsday is practically the equivalent to Thanos in the DC Universe, unless his involvement is a post credit scene, this will be a guarantee fail on DCs front....

I think your referring to darkseid. Id say doomsday is closer to the Hulk( mindless Hilk not smart talking hulk)
 
I'm down for throwing him in. Yall are giving doomsday's back story way too much credit. He can be summed up with a couple scenes. He doesn't offer enough to have a whole movie devoted to him.

I'm also against marvels new "movies that are actually commercials for new movies" :x

I'm willing to give it a chance is what I'm getting at

IMO, Doomsday is a better villain to use as a precursor to Darkseid. I would have him as a villain right after the JLA has been formed. So basically, if you were planning to have the JLA as a trilogy, have Braniac as the villain that brings the JLA together (JLA 1), have Doomsday as their first villain as a team (JLA 2, and have him kill a member or two of the JLA), then have Darkseid to close it out (JLA 3). Not exactly an original idea, but if it can work for Marvel, it should work for DC.
