DC Studios THREAD - GunnVerse Begins - Chapter ONE: Gods & Monsters

Or they could go that Vanilla Sky route.

Just read on IMDb that they did indeed shut down Times Square for a day. Crazy.

Gotta watch Vanilla Sky again. I remember loving it.

I know I haven't been paying close attention but I thought Steve Trevor was cast for SS? :nerd: or was that just somebody else I confused the name with?

Pine is a good pick up though.

Scott Eastwoods role was rumors to be Steve Trevors but I believe his representatives denied that and on set you see him wear an army-like gear.

Oh yeah, that's who I was thinking about. Eh, it's w/e.

Pine was rumored to be GL

Now downgraded to WW's love interest? Damn.
 I forgot about that rumor.

That is a bit of a downgrade and from the talk of the WW movie it's not clear they'll be room for Trevor to be the damsel in distress.

Probably better for him imo, not as a big an obligation contract wise and less pressure than if he were cast as a JL member. And he still gets paid that comic book movie money.

Probably like Joaquin Phoenix passing on Dr. Strange and WB met with Ryan Gosling for Suicide Squad (Joker), they didn't want to be tied down to multi-film contracts.

You dont get paid much for comic book movies until you become a popular character. The real draw to these movies is that it increases your exposure.

Good strategy and win win for both the studio and the actor. Get the up and comers before they blow up so you can spend less money. Give them the exposure to do movies like Jurassic World and James Bond.
