DC Studios THREAD - GunnVerse Begins - Chapter ONE: Gods & Monsters

Fact of the matter is Marvel claimed the best names for someone of that power set. "Ink" and "Tattoo" (even tho thats not her power set)

"Someone in CBM's comments section claims to know a guy who works at WB who says they'll be announcing HBO shows set in the DCCU at SDCC."

And his own added personal thought: @Josh_Wilding 20 minutes ago

"Don't take it too seriously obviously, but it's an interesting thought! Imagine an eight part BATMAN series on HBO starring Affleck..."

Gotta take that rumor with a grain of salt, as with any movie rumors these days. Though that would be pretty ill.

The IBT is reporting that yesterday while in Attendance at the CineEurope trade show Warner Bros. showed a sizzle reel that featured footage from Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice and Suicide Squad. The reel from this closed presentation has not been shared on the internet as of yet which leads to speculation that it will be presented at this year’s Comic-Con.

Warner Bros reveals Batman v Superman and Suicide Squad footage at CineEurope trade show; new trailers coming in July?

The likelihood of fans getting a glimpse of the new Batman v Superman footage and a Suicide Squad teaser trailer soon has just increased! It looks like the upcoming San Diego Comic-Con in July is going to be super exciting for fans eagerly waiting for the DC Cinematic Universe to unfold.

IB Times UK earlier speculated that the big Warner Bros presentation set to take place at the 2015 Comic-Con might include a new, second trailer for Batman v Superman along with a teaser for Suicide Squad and possibly, The Justice League.

However, with Warner Bros showing a DC Cinematic Universe sizzle reel featuring footage from Batman v Superman: Dawn Of Justice and Suicide Squad, at the CineEurope trade show on 22 June, it's safe to assume that the studio will definitely showcase the same footage, if not more, at the Comic-Con event as well.

If the prior reports are true, then that makes much sense.

Flash is suppose to only appear as a red streak in the film and Aquamans hand is suppose to appear from inside a vat or something.

If that is true then they are pretty much going to show their whole cameo in the trailer?

Well that should solve the problems that people are having that this is a JL movie.

It's not confirmed but I've been saying that these guys will have very little screen time and if we do see them for an extended period of time, it'll likely be in the end or even post credit.

RUMOR ALERT!

According to Collider, 2020's Green Lantern reboot will focus on more than just one human Green Lantern, with the site's sources telling them that those will be Hal, John, and possibly Guy Gardner. They claim it will be at least two or three of them anyway, and add that before they delve into the Green Lantern Corps (which the 2011 movie rushed into with unsatisfying results), the plan is to just focus on the human characters. That's an interesting approach, but one which should make everyone happy.

The site adds that they've, "heard speculation that the way Justice League will go down is that Part One will feature our heroes dealing with an Earth-based threat, and then at the end, Green Lantern will fly in and alert them to an intergalactic menace (most likely Darkseid) for Part Two." That's similar to previous reports, and it should be interesting to see if Warner Bros. end up introducing one or more of these Green Lanterns at Comic-Con next month.

If they're smart and they're gonna have 3 GLs in the reboot one should be one of the female GLs (the one chick that's completely green, or the recently new power ring chick).

Not lame *** Guy Gardener.

They should do it like the TV show. Have John and Hal plus a red lantern on a ship. In space. Buddy cop film

Some time ago, we heard about a solo movie for Ben Affleck's Dark Knight titled The Batman. According to Latino-Review, that's still happening, and it still has that title! While Aquaman and The Flash are both set to be released in 2018, it appears as if Warner Bros. are concerned about their movies being lost in the shuffle in what's looking like a very Marvel heavy year. That's why they're planning to pit The Batman against Captain Marvel in November of that year, retaliation perhaps for Captain America: Civil War forcing them to move Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice.

The site adds that Chris Terrio (who wrote Batman v Superman and will pen both Justice League movies) is set to work on The Batman too, with Ben Affleck starring and directing.

News are just pouring out, DC really wants it to be a big hit at SDCC, seems like Chris Pine might just be Hal Jordan afterall?

Footage from Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice and Suicide Squad is a given, but Latino-Review reports that the plan is to bring out the entire Justice League...including the two Green Lanterns we heard about for the first time earlier today!

These will indeed be Hal Jordan and Jon Stewart, and there will be a valid story reason for the team having two of these guys on the roster. If the plan is to bring them out on stage, the roles must have been cast, and the site reveals that : "Pine was rumored to be a candidate for Hal Jordan way back when we realized Ryan Reynolds would never float in a green suit again, and the rumors of Pine circling Wonder Woman were actually Pine closing in on the role of Hal Jordan."
