Well batman shares similar hate for SM as lex if you think about. He hates/doesn't trust supes because supes is better than him

Forget the hair, am I supposed to believe this guy will be a threat to the Justice League? He looks more like what Lex Luthor's off-screen son would look like.

Yeah, I'm sorry but he just looks like an emo teen. That casting might just of killed the potential DC universe. Lex is THE bad guy. Unless he puts on one hell of a performance I don't see it working.

Yeah he doesn't really strike me as intimidating. He just doesn't have the look and seeing him with the hair makes him look like he is working on the Social Network 2

That's not really Lex though, his evil is more concealed and he is charming that you may not even know he is truly bad. Calvin Candie is just openly ruthless and brutal.
