Smartest and best news I've heard about this DCCU plans is Geoff and Batffleck working on the Batman solo flick.

Now Batffleck just needs to admit he'll be sitting in that director's chair.

Since this older Bats, I want the full Robin crew making an appearance. Straight Arkham Knight status with Robin, Red Hood, Nightwing, throw Damien in there too while you're at it.

Since this older Bats, I want the full Robin crew making an appearance. Straight Arkham Knight status with Robin, Red Hood, Nightwing, throw Damien in there too while you're at it.

And some people are complaining about that...  

Well some feel Johns has fallen off or that he's never written Batman comics well. I don't watch Arrow and from the few eps I tried I don't know which eps he wrote. I'm not aware of other CW shows he written either. I will say though writing a CW show is a specific thing for a specific audience and overall the quality isn't that high to begin with. The stuff I have read from Johns has been good though. I feel he'd just be steering things right to keep it Batman while Batffleck tries to build the story.

As for Batffleck, don't know why that'd be a bad thing. I'm not aware of a lot of screenplays he's done but it has to be better than his acting which isn't bad.

He's a way better director than he is an actor and if he's directing the movie he's starring in there's no way he does a bad job in the lead.

I hope all of the Robins are dead. Only Batgirl and Batwoman should be active.

Love Bats' grappling hook gun. Reminds me of Deckard's blaster (Blade Runner).

Costumes looks incredible on display. I really never cared about Batman's Supes Buster armor, but it looks awesome in those pics.

And it was only a matter of time, but glad to have confirmation that Affleck will direct the standalone Bats' film. Only worry is that he will ground it too much. I mean, the concept of a Batman movie done with The Town sensibilities sounds good, but it may be too "Nolan-ish."
