Interesting observation, could very well be on both points. I just don't like the concept of soldiers working with the consent of Superman. If anything, Supes' wouldn't allow human beings to fight (and possibly die) for him.
 
He doesn't seem happy about them though so I am not sure he 100% approves.

The trailer was really good except for Lex.

They can't be serious man :smh: They would've been good if they just cast Cranston but noooo they wanted Eisenberg. Snyder's an idiot.

Everything else about the trailer was on point. Not a whole lot of Supes talking and a lot of focus on Bats. I knew Batffleck had this in the bag.

I thought it before when he was cast but Jeremy Irons about to be the best Alfred on screen. I can already tell he's carrying scenes when he got some wisdom to drop.

Gene Hackman is an exceptional actor and at the time was an on point casting for how Lex was in the comics; a red head that lost his hair and was a little pudgy rich white guy.

I believe he's already dead/retired in this timeline? If anything, they should have Barbara Gordon as commissioner and 2-3 films down the Bats' solo line have The Killing Joke arc and then have her become Oracle.

That's a little backwards and jumbled. You gonna make Babs the Commissioner, then cripple her and make her Oracle? She aint old enough to be commish of an entire police department.

Just like you said he was chosen for that time period.
Give Jesse a chance to flourish.
People had reservations about Heath Ledger and look at that performance(rip)..

This. I liked this a lot.

The quote about how they spent 10-20 years in Gotham and there's no good guys left. Now we have a good guy that has the power to destroy the human race. Should we really wait until he goes bad like all the others to do something about it?

I feel like you shouldn't be allowed to cite Ledger anymore when someone is doubtful of casting in a superhero movie lol... Bring up Evans as Cap or something because 90% of the time the comparisons are reaches

From the moment that promo image came out the reaction amongst doubters started to change And after the first actual trailer everyone had done a complete 180.

Eisenberg almost seems to be acting in a different movie based on the trailer :lol: but I blame whoever cut it more than him. I'm willing to give him the benefit of context

A second baddie for sure, it looks like it is maybe towards the end since you can kind of see a destroyed Batmobile behind her.

It was cut together so it looks like the trinity were fighting each other but even when Supes heat vision shoots out and then it cuts to Bats escaping with the grappling hook, that is probably someone else's blast because that would be a death beam from Supes if it hits so it can't be from him.

The blast could either be from Lex's armor or maybe Bizarro? I don't think Doomsday has a blast power like that but if Lex is cloning Zod then it makes sense to have that power.
