The JL cartoon is good. The JL Unlimited is even better since the definition looks better and all of the other characters shown in it.
 
Too bad these new cartoons are just. Bad guy appears, fight bad guy, bad guy loses. Every cartoon after YJ and EMH got cancelled is complete garbage
 
Not a fan of the new dc animation style. They even gave cyborg that weird chinstrap everyone else has.
 
With McDuffie gone and Timm doing other stuff like the rare animated movie it's no surprise DC's animated shows have dropped in quality.

Marvel only had good cartoons when they were licensed by FOX and whoever else in the 90s.

Superman/batman apocalyse

Superman: unbound

Under the red hood

Son of batman

Assault on arkham

Mask of the phantasm

Year one

Wonder Woman

Mystery of the batwoman

Can't remember if I watched crisis on two earths or not.. Vaguely remember watching batman vs Dracula.. Also saw bits of Gotham knight

I think I dig mid-late 30s Batman better but we were all aware of Zack Snyder's TDKR boner.

RDJr was about the same age as Afleck is right now. The makeup artists will do their job, I don't think we have anything to worry about.
 
^ things are obviously very different for the two characters they are playing..
 
IM makes sense to be old anyway as a major part of his persona is that he has a lot to make up for.

It makes sense for Batman to be old with what they are trying to accomplish.

They dont need to look young
 
old batman is perfect for the superman storyline

the difference in strength is so huge that it wouldnt make any difference if batman was in his athletic prime. he needs his experience way more when taking down superman

hopefully we get a batman solo film which shows off his god tier detective skills

we have yet to see a good detective movie batman (getting a finger print from a fired bullet is dumb as hell) 
 
The age affleck n leto are and the way they look they could actually make them look ten years younger for a prequel if they wanted to
 
By prequel I assume just any adventure he has before BvS dealing with other villains, maybe one of the stories where he took down Joker?

Not sure if he means another origins story.

The Batman; Year One stuff is pretty close to Begins though so I doubt they touch that anytime soon. As Zik said, maybe in a decade or two when a reboot or Inifity Crisis or Flashpoint happens then they can start over?
