DC Studios THREAD - GunnVerse Begins - Chapter ONE: Gods & Monsters

That Jason Todd Joker theory sounds STUPID AS ****. DC/WB even stated that Red Hood was a "priority" character. It's a major reach and if something like that happened, it would be worse than Mandarin in IM3 being an actor with substance abuse problems. I would cringe if the Joker was an emo Robin with abandonment issues.

I think at least one of the Suicide Squad will catch the fade, but I don't think it will be Croc or Enchantress. I think someone like Slipknot who I can't even remember being in the group shots in the trailer or in the promotional material either will get blown up. Probably early too. So the SS have a little extra incentive not to mess up.

Only main continuity robin I can deal with Damien. The rest suck

Fighting crime with a traveling circus performer? :x

Bruh :x :smh: Out of all of them you choose Damian? You've gotta be kidding me. You wanna question how a circus performer can fight crime, but have zero issue with a ten year old boy doing it? Come on now.

Though honestly if you're gonna ask questions like that you should avoid comics in general.

Plus, Batman was date-raped by Talia anyways, so Nightwing just happened to inherit it from his "father".

Damien is the heir to the dragon. Born straight into the league of shadows. Also I said I can deal with him, not that I actually like him, but he is by far the best.

Wasnt the circus performer recruited as a 10 year old boy too.

Zik is right. Bats hella suspect for this

sunshineblotters sunshineblotters Heir to the Demon, which doesn't make him fighting crime at 10 any less ridiculous

In current canon Nightwing became Robin when he was 16.

Honestly from Richard to Damian I like all of them in different ways.

The age doesnt bother me at all. 10 year old heir to the demon >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> 16 year old circus performer.

Hit-Girl is in my top 3 sidekicks and she started out the womb.

Hey to each his own. I find all the Robins, minus Jason, to be better written than Damian.

I also think Hit Girl and that entire franchise of hers is booty cheeks.

Didnt read it. If it is booty cheeks it is still better than any robin minus maybe damien.

Makes sense.

Didnt say her comic was good. I said she is one of the best sidekicks. As shown in Kick-*** series. Hell dont even think Kick-*** is amazing, just saying that Hit-Girl >>>>>>>>>>> robin

Not reading Hit-Girl comic doesnt negate my argument. I have read enough of the various robin comics to know it is trash before dropping DC altogether

Jason Todd had no time to shine. Made it worse when DC literally made him a carbon copy of Grayson Pre-Crisis and Post-Crisis he was annoying but I still got respect for dude

Grayson: OG, night-wing so he's good in my book.

Jason Todd: Ok as the delinquent robin, but Red Hood reminds me of a less powerful Slade thats too weak to take on Batman so he's not threatening.

Tim Drake: I like him since he leads TT and seems more gifted than the other two above at a young age.

Damien: Seems forced, like he's made just to grab attention and get more fans.

Carrie?

that Jason Todd/Joker theory is not only stupid but a hella reach.

IF and a big IF this was any way a possibility that would mean that Ras Al Ghul and the Lazarus Pit would have to be somehow introduced in this universe.

Joker killed Robin/Jason Todd. This is a fact that cannot be altered. Jason Todd was brought back in one of the most bizarre time altering ways ever and was made crazy by the Lazarus Pitt. That being said thinking that Jason Todd after being tortured/beaten/left for dead by the Joker would somehow become the new Joker is ludicrous. I mean what happened to the original one if this is true? Did Jason kill him after he failed the first time they confronted each other? Did Batman finally kill joker after he killed Jason? There's too many loopholes for a possibility of Jason being joker.
