I dont even know why Eisenberg was cast. Should've gone with a serious actor that's 35-45 years old.
The whole movie would've had a different vibe (basing this on trailers shown)
 
How is WW forced?

The Battle between Superman and Zod was seen all over the world in MOS. This draws out Batman.. The battle between Batman and Superman will draw out WW, and the three of them battling Doomsday will probably draw out Aquaman, Flash, Etc.. seems like a natural progression? are we whining because in this universe, worldwide events are taken note of by all of our heroes unlike the other universe?
 
WW seems forced because she just appeared out of nowhere in the trailer but it won't be like that in the film. I don't really think it's forced but I could see how people would feel that way.

The last trailer has her leaving the Lex party and also has a screen cap in magazines of Diana and Bruce dancing so that means she has a bigger role than just showing up to fight.

The first trailer showed her pulling up in a car, dressed for a party..Probably the party scene that clark and bruce and lex have this exchange in this trailer... im pretty sure she is watching them from afar this whole movie.. she has prbably had tabs on superman since the event, and possibly batman in gotham too..

from her movie being filmed right now its safe to say she's been on earth a long long time, at LEAST around World War I., so neither of these guys are a surprise to her..

Going along with this same train of thought im willing to bet she is going to be the one to "Unite the 7'. It would be very dope to have her be the one to bring the league together.. at least introduce them, with her having been on earth longer than most of them have been alive..
 
That was an okay trailer.

Best part was Batffleck interacting with Supes.

I knew WW was in this and would join the fight so it's really no surprise she gets a cameo in this trailer.

They over did it with showing Doomsday imo. It looked horrible too. Just another random monster for Supes to pummel.

Yall dudes who were saying Eisenberg was gonna be a surprise and be brilliant in the role still feel that way? :nerd:

I'm happier this is a Lex Jr. cuz his portrayal was not to my liking to say the least. Just came annoying and so not Lex Luthor.

All I can say is ok.

I'm looking at Snyder's filmography who has ever been brilliant under his direction. Then I remind myself on top of that this is a Goyer script. Add in this trailer. Either yall will be let down or will be forcing it to take up for Jesse.

should have went with Cranston.. but I didn't understand some of the casting.. like going with an older batman, then everyone else pretty much being introduced for long term planning

I would've preferred he scrapped it.

Goyer stank aint good for most movies especially as time goes on.

He's going to continue to cash checks after co-writing TDK.

Unless Nolan is involved don't expect much.

Anyway, what is amazing is that this movie has been in production since 2013 right? Damn shame that it looks like it's going to disappoint.

WB know they have a dud on their hands. That's why it is being released in MARCH :lol:
 
Phoenix doesn't find the superhero role fulfilling, I think he was closes to the Dr. Strange role than Lex.


I’ve flirted with several of those films, having meetings and getting close, but ultimately it never felt like they’d really be fulfilling. There were too many requirements that went against my instincts for character. I’ve been spoiled. I’ve never had to make those compromises. I’ve not met a director yet with one of those films where we go through the script, they say: ‘You know what, **** this set-piece, let’s focus on the character!’ I understand, but it’s best I don’t do it.
