Funny you say Momoa as Drax would be perfect because that role was initially offered to him iirc, he just wanted too much money so they offered it to Batista who was willing to take a lot less money to get in the movie business and a big Marvel movie at that.
 
^ Yea I'm an avid follower of "El Mayimbe" I know he gets a lot of hate from fan boys, but he provides alot of good info and insight about the Hollywood biz, not just movie scoops.

Mayimbe was saying the agency that Mamoa's is signed to is a joke, those guys we're looking for an Ari Gold type deal from Marvel :lol:. I know they were looking out for their client, but they we're looking for that A-List money, when they as agents and the star haven't really hit the big time yet.


EDIT: Batman vs Superman starts shooting in February, El Mayimbe was saying we might start seeing press pics of the actors in costume (Provided by Entertainment Weekly most likely) even before Comic Con next Summer. Speaking of which 2014 Comic Con may be the best ever with all the flicks coming out in 2015.

Yeah when he didn't get the role cuz of money I started really thinking Momoa is more of a look than a talent when it comes to being right for a role. I wasn't that disappointed when he wasn't Drax and Game of Thrones hasn't skipped a beat since he died. In a way he got fridged to make Khaleesi a badass.

That's why if he was Martian Manhunter (and I know this is the ppl reporting the rumor speculating this and not a rumor from anyone with the movie) I'd be more interested in the approach since in looks alone it's unlike anything before in comics and animation.

She's gonna be extremely average in the role IMO. She's beautiful, but just an average actor.

Manhunter ain't no games, he's not on that Doomsday level but he's a bad boy in his own right. He's just as powerful as Supes plus has telepathy, shapeshifting etc....


But dude is susceptible to fire, that's where I think Bats might come in with his gadgetry/intelligence to help Superman defeat this guy.

The more I think about Gal being Wonder Woman the more I like it. Lets face it bruhs................she has a beautiful face, its not like you need great acting skills and experience to portray a super hero+she actually has decent tittays :smokin

If they put her in a costume and she looks really hot in it, people will stop saying how bad she is for a day or two.

she was born to be WW.

the only issue i can see the producers having is her age. shorty might not wanna be doin action movies for the next decade

The photo is from 2012, and she still looks good (on a side note, I find her more attractive now, than I did during her Xena days). Kinda tough to see her as WW now though, especially after seeing her in Parks and Recreation. :lol:
 
Come on bruh Lucy Lawless career been in the toilet for more than a decade. No one cares about her.
And all those pictures of Monica Belucci are from 10-15 years ago. She looks aged now and she would be 51 when the movie comes out.

I'm praying this doesn't become a disaster. First, Ben as Batman now Gal as Wonder Woman. I'm not going to judge until I see the film BUT I do feel it's clustered as far as the heroes involved. I mean this is a MOS sequel and they haven't really established Superman yet. IMO, they should've kept this under wraps as far as Batman. I guess it's their selling point, Batman vs. Superman. I cannot wait.
 
I do not get the hate for Affleck still. I mean look at his work the past few years, he is smarter now and he simply would not take this role if it would suck and ruin his career a second time around.

As for Gadot, she is already growing on me as I think about it more. Yeah acting-wise she hasn't proven much but she has that exotic look which I could imagine WW being an Amazon.

And again, all these roles being filled isn't 100% sure to have a big part in the film, these could all be 30 second cameos in the end to set-up a JLA film.
 
Belluci was not born to be WW. Gotta be crazy to believe that. Not much about her screams WW. :lol:

Saying LL is irrelevant now would be one thing but saying her career is in the toilet is complete and utter bull ****. She went out on her career on a high note.

I think when people say exotic they dont mean someone looks like lets say Tia Carrere (asian), they mean exotic in the sense of Olivia Wilde, Natalie Portman or Catherine Zeta Jones.
In other words she gives off a different vibe (exotic) when compared to the typical American girl next door looks of lets say Sandra Bullock or Drew Barrymore

My god I had the biggest crush on Tia Carrere in the 90's.

Just thinking of other actresses that may fit the bill body-wise as WW, I think Jessica Beal and Jennifer Garner might have worked, they both kind of have that broad shoulder that you kind of expect from WW I guess?

Garner would have likely gotten grilled though if she was hired being Affleck wife and all.

I wouldn't have minded Minka Kelly in a WW suit too, she's slightly more built and full-bodied than Gadot.
