Wow, wish DC was this smart with the other movies. They basically got everybody that was rumored for the movie to be in it. Leto, Hardy, and Smith is enough for admission.
@ Oprah being their first choice. That almost makes me feel they don't give a ****.

Also didnt changeling from x-men have to change his name to morph cuz DC was using changling? Same with DC changing Cpt. Marvel to Shazam. How is no one doing anything about two Enchantresses?

Probably not popular enough to fight it and their powers aren't similar. One isn't taking money away from the other. There was a time back in the 60s(?) where Capt Marvel (Shazam) was the best selling book.
Morph in XMen and Beat Boy of Teen Titans are pretty big parts of the shows and comics (Beast Boy more than Morph I guess?). I don't think anyone is even using that name anymore.
As mentioned before, some didn't even know DC has an Enchantress.

If they get Oprah in this, its gonna make billion dollars based of her damn fan club, they won't care what she's in...Oprah is a good actress though.
If they go traditional Amanda Waller, Viola Davis my first choice she's been such a boss in "How to Get Away with Murder". If they're trying to do slimmed down Waller, Kerry Washington would be good based off the fan suggestions.
And to "sunshineblotters", they definitely won't kill Boomerang, I can see him being saved for the Flash movie.

The difference from Captain Marvel and Marvel ending up with the rights to the name is that the character was popular before DC existed. By the time DC became DC and acquired the rights to Captain Marvel they never got around to acquiring the rights to the name.
It's similar to the name Wonder Man. DC sued some comic company cuz they said the character was too similar to Supes. They won and eventually bought the rights to that character. Then they shelved the character and Marvel eventually created their own Wonder Man.
Not to mention in both publishing companies the character is not even a top tier villain.
It will be interesting to see if either Marvel or DC rushes to register the trademark for the Enchantress name (which would then mean they'd have to publish a comic with Enchantress in the title).

I'm pretty sure she is a top choice simply because she is a modern day it girl. You can't go anywhere in London without seeing her face on an ad every 20 feet. She will bring out the uk moviegoers, who tend to need an extra push to go see a movie in theatres.

I was thinking the same for a minute but IDK. He is a quirky as **** villain. Im not big on DC but he just like a throwaway character the way Ronan was in GotG. If Malekith was a throwaway villain (even tho I personally liked him) Cpt. Boomerang can just as easily be one.
I think if anyone is going to die it will be enchantress (most likely) but I can see it being Cpt Boomerang (second choice).
Of course there may be more characters that arent cast yet.

Makes sense now.Beast Boy is definitely more important than Morph. I dont remember Marvel using Morph since Age of Apocalypse more or less. Hell he was supposed to be a throwaway character in X-Men TAS but people ended up liking him. Still didnt get much use out of him tho.
He was a plot device in the first season to get Wolverine to hate Cyclops. Then he made one or two cameos after that.
[spoiler = For those of you who don't remember]The X-Men went to find out where Master Mold was being stored but on their way out they got ambushed by Sentinels. Sentinels kidnapped Morph while the other X-Men scrambled to safety. Logan wanted to go back and help morph but Cyclops gave the order not to. Logan was mad at Cyclops for leaving his day 1 ***** behind[/spoiler]

He wasn't so terrible in Jack Reacher. I haven't seen Divergent but I don't think he was objectionable in that film either.
Dude is definitely on the rise though getting these big roles. Hope dude doesn't become the next Taylor Kitsch.

I watched Jack Reacher at the weekend and I've already forgotten what character Jai Courtney played.
Overall, the cast sounds okay though, Leto obviously sounds the most promising.
But Oprah? nah... I'd boycott it if she gets cast... I'd rather have Maserati as Waller

Kitsch is on the come up again though.. Dude has proven himself to be a good actor
He's still young too.. He has an Action star run left in him.
I can see this dude ending up being the next Armie Hammer tho :x

Outside of True Detective, only thing he is doing is voicing a low budget cartoon and that is pretty much it.
I'm guessing he hopes True Detective re-routes his career but I don't see his star rising again just yet.

I'd prefer Octavia Spencer to play the part of Amanda Waller. If you've seen her act , she can do " cold " very well. But you can't go wrong with either her or Voila Davis. I'm not too sure about Oprah. It's definetly not a deal breaker for me , but I will give her a chance should she get the part.
