I liked Alpha on SyFy, thought it was pretty good actually so they can make a good show. Goyer is the one that got me worried.

As for TNT, at least the ratings expectations isn't going to be too high for it to be cancelled right away. Wish it was on FX or AMC but TNT isn't as bad as USA or TBS? I don't think it is all set in stone which network it will be on though.

Alphas was a great show. Sucks they left that cliffhanger in S2 because they didnt know they got cancelled. :smh: Only syfy channel show i ever watched

Alphas  was great, it was just getting a bit repetitive from what I remember. I was pissed when it was canceled. And I'm getting annoyed with all these shows on different networks.

Yeah, I started watching Alphas on netflix and was mad that it ended on a cliffhanger. I really hate the SyFy network. They'd rather just buy shows made by other networks now. One of my favorite shows Continuum might be cancelled and SyFy says they can't buy it because it would cost too much to make. Hate that they also didn't pick up that Battlestar Galactica prequel series, Blood & Chrome.

I'll check it out on Syfy.

They better leave Continuum alone . I love the concept and direction of that show.

Alphas was pretty good. I like how they portratyed Gary's powerset. Sad to see it go on a cliffhanger.

Continuum just got renewed for a final season yesterday but it is only for 6 episodes so they got to wrap it up quick.

Why is DC loaning out all their characters to these different networks instead of keeping them under one roof? ej. Fox CBS TNT SciFi

I didn't like the most recent season too much. alex was acting like a douche and put that ugly redhead's p on a pedestal and caused too many problems for my bae, Kiera.

Didn't know that, i've been waiting for news on it. 6 episodes will be tough. Rachel Nichols is so underrated. Didn't pay much attention to her until this show but she is stacked. I forgot she was in gi joe and Star Trek.

The only science fiction show i'll have left is Orphan Black. That show better last at least 5-6 seasons.

money.

Plus I'm sure no network wants to be the "superhero" channel. I believe these shows are pretty expensive to produce and when they flop it hits hard

Honestly, you are able to do more if the worlds are not connected. You prolly have a greater chance of seeing better stories and not seeing them saved for the big screen that way. I doubt they would introduce Deathstroke or Ras Al Ghul in arrow if they were in the same universe as the movies.

Gotham would have a higher viewership on Fox

and Krypton? Who gives a **** about Krypton?

No need to put them under one roof. That's what is limiting Marvel.
I feel like that's the last thing limiting Marvel.

If they wanted a whole bunch of tv shows out there they'd do that. It's not even about shows on different networks. DC purposely don't have their shows connected to the movie universe while Marvel does. If these shows were all happening on the same Earth MOS happened DC would not have anywhere near as many shows  DC don't mind paying 2 different guys to be Flash.

While Disney is hurting for a few cable networks it's not even like Marvel couldn't do the same thing DC is doing if they wanted to since they're already doing it with Netflix. If Disney gets greedy just expect them to create their own streaming site

I can understand wanting to separating tv and film, but it just seems like wasted opportunity. This season of AOS showed that you can have your show connected while telling it's own stories.

I guess I just don't see the hype. Its not like AoS is even a good show in the first place.
