DC Studios THREAD - GunnVerse Begins - Chapter ONE: Gods & Monsters

I liked mos but a lot of people had problems with it. There's also the gl movie that was going to be trash because reynolds was in it and that's just how it is.
I agree on GL. It was a terrible movie. But seeing as how it's not apart of the DCCU , I can't use that movie as a barometer for how the rest of the movies will turn out. That would be akin to judging the MCU based on the failures of Fantastic 1 & 2 , X3 , Daredevil , Elecktra , etc.

Was it always intended not to connect to the other movies that were going to come out after it? If the movie was actually good and did well I would've connected them. dc really lacks vision when it comes to this stuff. Take some time to plan instead of rushing stuff. They should've tried to get arrow and flash on a major network or on something like netflix. Also have that show gotham be in the same universe.

Their chemistry is off the charts.

Cant believe they couldnt get Will back and instead replaced him with Liam Hemsworth

Cara Delevingne :pimp:
I love her :wow:
I take a lot of heat from NTers for doing so. Cuz she aint the 39inch *** 18 inch waist and 32DD chested woman that every NTer claims to date

Wasnt GL actually made by WB? Those movies were not made by Marvel Studios.

GL looked to be meant to connect story arcs. They introduced the black lady and everything. It was just so bad they forgot about it instantly

It doesnt appear that GL was meant to lead into a bigger connected universe. It looks as if it were trying to establish an expanded GL universe. There was no mention of any other significant DC characters in the movie.

So past, present, and future events would line up in the tv shows and movies. The premise of the show is kinda stupid anyway and I don't watch it.

I like the idea of the show but I think it just falls flat. They jump from villain to villain like episodes of csi. They should of had one huge story that spanned several villains within it.

Not really. People like to bring up Nolan's Trilogy when ranking DC comic films, so it's only appropriate that Jonah Hex, GL, SR, and all that be judged with it. Marvel doesn't even own Fantastic 4, Elektra, and didn't have DD at the time.

SS has promise simply because it hasn't been done before. Along with the fact that they got Will & Leto. The group pic is still goofy tho.

No Punisher for Tom Hardy, he revealed to Collider

I actually got something cooking with Warner Bros. which is also a comic book, it’s a DC thing which is kind of… It’s really good actually, it contains elements of all kinds of stuff. From Ocean’s Eleven, to Batman, you can get all the wrappers out and it would be a big, really cool, Technicolor, Pulp Fiction…It’s a psychological [frick]fest, it’s absolutely awesome. It’s as if you would take Transmetropolitan and make it happen, but it’s not that out there it’s something which is much more real world. It could be like Heat, it could be [frick]ing awesome... try and guess.

It’s real estate, it’s PRIME real estate which is sitting there right under everybody’s nose that no one’s really thought about yet and it goes TV and movie, it’s awesome. I can’t believe that nobody has even –I know they thought of it but no one has actually blown life into it yet.

I'm glad they didn't go with the court jester look.

It's modern but still true to Quinn. Robbie is perfect for the role.
