I think the way she acts is what will change minds (hopefully for the better). If she acts like she does in the cartoon/games all will be good. If she's bland and horrible like catwoman was in TDKR, problems

Hell no. Completely pointless, bland, and unnessery. You could literally cut out all the parts of her in the movie and it would still make sense for the most part.
