I don't believe in it seeing how the target audience for this show is comic fans period. I don't see why people believe this is specifically targeted for females when that is an audience that hasn't even been fully tapped yet. I don't believe this looks the way it looks because it's targeted to females. It looks bad because it looks bad, not because it isn't targeted towards me. This looks like a comic show I expect like 10 years ago.

My wife thought it was cheesy, but she wants to watch it still, because it's in fact targeted at females, doesn't mean it'll be good or bad...just have to wait and see....

The only thing I did like was some of the super power sequences...like when she first flew, and when she jumped off the building...that was kind of dope...she's cute too...but I think passed the first episode this will get staled quick...and since they are addressing Supes, do they not know each other?...is this a universe where Supes has no secret identity?...do they even speak?...kind of weird that coming both from krypton and the only survivors, Supes ain't all up in this....

And is she older than Supes?....she left Krypton practically a teenager, while Supes left as an infant....somehow she's younger on Earth?

I think people seem to unfamiliar with the types of television shows CBS likes to put on the air.


It looks exactly like I expected a CBS-ized version of the flash, with a female focus.

What do you mean the female market hasn't "been fully tapped". There are whole networks geared towards women (OWN, Lifetime, HALLMARK) not too mention daytime TV.

Kara is Superman's older cousin. Superman left Krypton as an infant and grew up normal on Earth.

Kara on the other hand was put in suspended animation for her trip to earth, and it took a lot longer to get there. By the time she arrives, her baby cousin is already grown up

Holy **** you're right they're literally the same

IDK maybe due to the backlash they'll make some changes later in the season or in season 2 if the show survives.

I like the concept of a Supergirl show, and I think the actress is really cute. It's just the execution, from what we can see right now, is terrible

Nah, the remaining episodes haven't been shot yet, I believe. They need to get it done immediately. Don't know if I can handle more get it right in the second season shows.

They need to get tom welling to guest star as superman tho. Lol

It kinda seems like Perry will be the love interest.

Too much too soon (if true)

On paper it sounds great, Batman, Superman... Wonder Woman, Aquaman... Lex Luthor... even a cameo from the Joker... and now Doomsday...

But it still feels (as this whole project has since day one) that it's all a bit rushed... trying to squeeze too much into one film. Doomsday is not a character (imo) that you just "shoehorn" into an already packed rosta... he needs real development, his backstory needs groundwork, or else you're just gonna end up with "Batman Forever Bane"... if done properly (again, imo) Doomsday is one of the best, most tragic and most interesting DC villains ever, ideally a character that iconic, that important needs an entire film to explore his origins...
