With a velour hoody though  :smh:
Welp

There goes any hope I had for Common's movie career.

Especially given the **** he was rumored or attached to in the past. Son dyed his goatee for a bit role  :smh:
Name may sound ridiculous but if you really think about it, it's all in line with the other names out there. Spider-MAN, Super-MAN, Bat-MAN, Ant-MAN, Squirrel GIRL, Human Torch, etc... It really isn't as bad as some other ridiculous names like Matter Eater Lad, Arm Fall Off Boy, Fruit Boy and Super Slave.
The -MAN part isn't really what makes the name sound stupid

I don't even want to know about no Super Slave though :smh:

I just meant they often just add the word MAN or WOMAN or GIRL after a noun (or adjective) and you got the hero or villain name. It does sound extra stupid to call someone Tattooed Man but again it's just adding MAN to the name the character closely relates to.

Maybe because Marvel already have characters with those names? Not sure, maybe Marvel got them first so they didn't want to copy or the character was conceived much, much earlier so it fell at a time where cheesy names were being given left and right? Really don't know his history. Or maybe they do not want him confused with the guy from Fantasy Island?

Also, I vaguely remember but isn't there an ink villain in Batman Beyond?

To me it's the Tattooed part that is ridiculous.

Yeah there's an ink villain already in BB but I don't know when this guy was created to say the name was already taken.

I think the one from Batman Beyond is spelled different from what I wrote. Just saying almost anything is better than Tattooed Man.

And the same name debacle? How long did Shazam go as Captain Marvel before the change like 20-30 years?

The character is minor enough that neither would likely sue one for it but I don't know, Cap Marvel was a big enough name and Shazam was actually a best selling book back then so it was enough to fight over it.

I could see Tattooed Man being a name given back in the 60s or 70s but if it's a recent character then I don't know, maybe it's an inside joke by the creators? Or maybe they just thought it would be such a minor character that they didn't care for the name? The creator probably never thought the character would ever make a big screen appearance.

Name-wise, I like Killer Croc. Look-wise, gon' have to judge it post-cgi.

Tattoo guys power is actually somewhat cool, his tattoos come to life? It could be executed well, which would be the big question. I feel like I've seen that power in a cartoon before though... hmmm....

Marvel ain't going to comic con because they have the D23 convention and they are bug enough to make huge announcements on their own. They aint scared of DC
