DC Studios THREAD - GunnVerse Begins - Chapter ONE: Gods & Monsters

Idris? Idris getting up there in age. By the time they drop that he probably wont even be interested. Or am I wrong

Chris Pine definitely

John Stewart seems a little older in some of the jl cartoons. Was probably losing his hair so he shaved his head.

The only reason yall can even say Idris is getting old is cuz in some roles or everyday life he's letting his gray show.

Let him get a dose of black ice and get in a little bit of shape and you'll think Stringer Bell resurrected.

Green Lanterns? I feel like they should establish one GL, insert him into the JL, then introduce other GL's later.
Well according to these rumors, that's exactly how it's gonna be.

The JL movie comes out way before the GL movie. The way things are going the JL sequel will drop before the GL movie
It has seemed to me that DC's plan has been specifically not do things like Marvel has done a shared cinematic service despite how well it worked. Almost as if it's an edict from up on high by a WB exec.

I will say though, just going off the link, a Sony exec really has no right to say who is corny "big time" especially after letting Raimi do SM3.
And no, Snyder/Goyer don't count as DC's Feige. They should just let Bruce Timm flourish.
I haven't clicked on the link but that'd be one hell of a promotion for Timm if he even would want the job.

I'm talking about even the first GL movie. Focus on one guy's story and expand afterward. It just sounds like a cop-out to me. Pick Hal or John and deal with people on the internet moaning about the other one not being chosen. (That would include myself if they don't choose John Stewart. )

Well they sort of did that with the failed GL movie  They focused on one guy, who was Hal and it sucked. Right now it's like 50/50 that it'll be Hal or John in the JL movie.

gl failed the moment they cast reynolds. Tired of the same humor he has in comic book movies.

I would agree but I can't. Everything about the movie was absolutely horrible. I mean name one thing good about it?

The Joker's speech to Bruce regarding Tim in that film is greatness.

I actually liked the dude who played Sinestro in GL. He just wasn't used well. I liked the costume as well (w/o the mask) flamesuit on.

Movie was bad though.

On Saturday, July 11, beginning at 10:30 a.m., Warner Bros. will showcase several of its upcoming feature releases and offer up a surprise or two as well.

Keen to deliver a taste of one of next year’s most eagerly awaited pairings, director Zack Snyder and stars Ben Affleck and Henry Cavill take the main stage with “Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice.” They are joined by castmates Amy Adams, Jesse Eisenberg, Jeremy Irons, Holly Hunter and Gal Gadot for a sneak peek at the 2016 action adventure that brings the Super Heroes together on the big screen for the very first time, from Warner Bros. Pictures and RatPac-Dune Entertainment.

From “Pan,” Hugh Jackman, Garrett Hedlund and Peter himself, Levi Miller, together with director Joe Wright, soar into town with their high-flying adventure, coming to theaters this fall from Warner Bros. Pictures and RatPac-Dune Entertainment.

And Cavill once again takes the stage, this time with Armie Hammer, a duo with a very different dynamic in this summer’s fresh, über-stylish actioner from filmmaker Guy Ritchie, “The Man from U.N.C.L.E.,” along with fellow stars Alicia Vikander and Elizabeth Debicki.

Sue Kroll, President, Worldwide Marketing and International Distribution, stated, “Comic-Con provides us a fantastic opportunity to interact with the fans and this year, as with every year, our aim is to surpass their expectations. We’re also thrilled to give our filmmakers and talent a chance to experience the unique energy and enthusiasm of Comic-Con.”

With “Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice,” “The Man from U.N.C.L.E.” and “Pan” headlining the bill, Warner Bros. will also present some unexpected offerings that are sure to delight the crowd.

Rumored info about BVS

1. Bruce Wayne Was In Metropolis During "Man Of Steel"
Supposedly, Bruce was in Metropolis during General Zod's invasion in "Man of Steel." He immediately decided that Superman was a threat after he saw all of the destruction caused by him.
Bruce's intense distrust for the Man of Steel leads him to create elaborate plots designed to take down the alien once and for all. He feels it is necessary to save the world.
Of course, what Bruce doesn't know is that he's also being hunted. Clark Kent is fascinated by Batman's 15-year-long career and wants the truth surrounding sightings of the Dark Knight even though his editor doesn't think the story is newsworthy.

2. Wonder Woman Is Investigating Lex Luthor
Princess Diana of Themiscrya suspects that Lex Luthor has been monitoring people gifted with supernatural powers. After her cousin Aquaman is captured, she decides to investigate.
Allegedly, a paramilitary team led by Anatoly Kniazev kidnaps Aquaman. It is revealed that the soldiers are on LexCorps' payroll.
Wonder Woman arrives in Metropolis and pretends to be a wealthy humanitarian so she can free the metahumans from Luthor's control.

3. Victor Stone's Father Works For S.T.A.R. Labs
The alleged synopsis also reveals that there will be a brief glimpse of Metropolis's star quarterback Victor Stone. It also hints that the audience will discover that his father works as a robotics engineer for S.T.A.R. Labs.
Victor's future as a crime fighting superhero is also referred to at the end of the film. There is a brief mention that the young football player has been transferred to S.T.A.R. Labs' C.Y.B.O.R.G department just as the three main superheroes vow to recruit fellow metahumans for the Justice League..

So he saw the guy who saved the planet from the evil kryptonians as a threat? Next time i'd let batman handle the super powered villains and watch them snap his neck.
