I doubt they'll settle their differences in this film. They'll work together, but Bruce will still be wary.

By settle their differences I mean stop fighting and work together. In terms of being wary, even when Superman's his best friend Batman's still always prepared in case something happens and he goes off the rails, so he's always wary.

Bale pulled off Bruce so effortlessly and flawlessly that I always overlooked the throat cancer voice   

Bale unfortunately was a pretty forgettable Bruce Wayne in all 3 films. Wasn't his fault though, the fault all lies with writing and directing. He was a good Batman though minus the terrible voice that almost ruined most of the scenes Bats was in.

Bruce was great to me in BB and TDKR. He was forgettable in TDK tho. If you put Afflecks Batman in TDK mannnn
