Well Doomsday really needs no explanation. He could just be a failed Zod clone that Lex has been experimenting on, it can be explains in a few minutes worth of scenes and dialog between Lex and some scientists. I mean they can even say they found remnants of Zods ship and it had some historical data about Doomsday being an ancient monster from Krypton and they accidentally awaken or recreated it using Zods body?
 
That sounds horrible. I hope it's nothing like that :lol:

I know there's not much to doomsday but he's worth more than a side villain

Yeah I hope they dont they have to explain Doomsday. Thats a whole other movie but it'll be interesting if at the end they at least introduce the idea.

Damn I wonder how long this movie is going to be
 
I guess you guys haven't read much DC books int he past decade or so, I don't keep up with it much but I do know that Doomsday has had many iterations and has been cloned numerous times to be of a weaker being.


Again those are guesses for BvS but even in the book Death of Superman, it wasn't fully explained who Doomsday was, he was just a villain who destroyed stuff and eventually killed Supes. There really isn't a whole movies worth of things to talk about for just having Doomsday as the villain. He is one of those bad*ss villains that just comes in to destroy stuff without any motivation other than survival of the fittest in a way. Dude just keeps evolving and evolving to get stronger.
 
Bro, I get that, BUT to have doomsday jump in with 20mins left in the movie and have a horribly "convenient" introduction with him just getting whipped out would be bad. That just makes it so he can't be used again for the sake of having a punching bag for 5-10 mins :x . That's what marvel does

Doomsday should be a main villain. He's the character that killed supes, being a side throw away villain would suck.

Eh, you guys are too invested in a villain who pretty much just brawled with Supes for a whole arc and killed him with no backstory or anything. And now you guys want a whole 2-3 hours of film centered on him? He has no depth, he isn't some deep thinking villain with an agenda, he just wreaks havoc.

He isn't going to be a punching bag, Doomsday dies and comes back to life evolved and stronger than ever. I mean they can build him up too just showing glimpses of him in a lab where Lex is doing something. But int he end, he is going to have to be a pawn eventually that can just keep coming back because that is what he is. He may lose eventually but he will cause more destruction than MoS ever did and leave the trinity gasping for air.

In the end these are all guesses anyways, it could go in many directions.

Who said a whole movie? I'm fine with doomsday being paired up with someone but at least make his existence more than just utter unremarkable convenance to everything else laziness. Let something crash from space and build up at the end while the good guys fight it out with each other or something else. If his story is "we just made him because" :x

cameron diaz definitely hasn't aged well. Haven't liked her since Something About Mary. She's part Latina anyway. She could play joker with how big that mouth of hers is.

The Mask is when she looked best with a little more weight. Would've put on that mask and have her sit on that long tongue.

Definitely sounds like most want it to be a whole movie by saying he shouldn't be included in this one because he killed Supes.

I get what you are saying that there has to be a build up in this film but I also have no problem with dude just busting out of a vat and messing everyone up.

I mean Lex could even unleash him thinking it'll help him and dude just turns on him and destroys his armor and throws him away to a distant and then have the trinity deal with him and a long 20-30 minute Snyder-filled battle ensues.

But was Winter Soldier really a good villain?

He was just a bad*ss who fought well and had great action scenes. He was no more of a goon as Bane was, just following orders really.

Yeah most of you guys hate how Bane went out but Bane did more with executing the plans and actually broke Bats back.


I mean I like the Winter Soldier and rank Cap2 higher than TDKR but I do not see WS as that great of a villain, he was cool and bad*ss but not much else. He actually tip toed being an anti-hero than anything towards the end?

Antagonist is probably a better word to use than villain, but I agree with both of you and I really liked Bane, as well.
 
I think its a mixture of more modern jokers the 3 i see the most from whats been revealed about him is the following. There has been rumors of him being based off the Dark Knight Returns Joker more then anything else.

All Star Batman and Robin (first thing i thought of when i saw jokers tattoos)

End Game Joker from the Most recent  Joker story arc for the Batman Comic

The Dark Knight Returns Joker (mainly cuz Leto is buff and scene wearing a suit similar to this one)
