DC Studios THREAD - GunnVerse Begins - Chapter ONE: Gods & Monsters

I still think DC/WB is playing up the BvS angle (which sells the film in itself) and leaving the "real" villains a mystery. I have faith in Terrio and Jesse will come up with something solid.

Not knowing their approach to Lex, I really would like to see a "Frank Lucas" type character. Someone who is generally loved and admired by the common man, yet has ill intentions behind the scenes. IMO, this would create real friction between Superman and the people of earth.

Still can't fault the hate for the appearance of Lex.. Hopefully he has the "classic" appearance in the film. With that said, still not as bad as Apocalypse.

How's warren beatty looking nowaday? Have him in a sequel.

I could see it, more as a cameo of sorts. I guess when u step back and look at it. U either keep it in that era, or modernize it. But then u have to watch that u don't venture into the 007, Kingsman realm of things.

This is the thread to say all that salty ****

I'm lost on how the Incredibles are anything like the F4. I mean you got to strip down F4 to just be about a family of superheroes to even have the comparison makes sense.

MCU is the most successful cinematic superhero franchise bar none so it makes sense ppl would try to take weak shots.

Mr. Incredible/Mr. Fantastic
One of the members can turn invisible/use forice fields
One of the members can stretch
One has super strength
The baby by all acounts has greater potential than all of them (With one of his abilities covering the Human Torch's)
The ending with the Underminer was a homage to the ending to the F4's first adventure, which featured Mole Man
A family of superheroes

The Incredibles was great, and actually far more interesting to me than the Fantastic 4 ever were, but there were clear parallels between the two that are easy to see.
I thought all those things were clear examples of The Incredibles jacking the Fantastic 4 and getting away with it.

It's fine that yall prefer The Incredibles but to me it's not beating those Stan and Jack stories or the Byrne run or Hickman's as far as being interesting goes. Incredibles seems more like something you enjoy one and done. It doesn't give me the feel of entering an entire universe. Of course it doesn't help that movie studios haven't gotten the F4 right at all while expies are made for animation to be in a more simpler take.

Chris Terrio is writing this?!?!?!?!?!

batman would probably die. He needs prep time to make some kryptonite lube or something.

If Chris Pine isn't playing Hal, then who? I thought that could of worked.

Man...you know what's about to happen...:smh:

I swear if they get like Nicolas Cage.  :smh:

WB/DC already said they're going to have 2 earth GL's. It's more than likely Hal AND John. Who would play Hal?
