DC Studios THREAD - GunnVerse Begins - Chapter ONE: Gods & Monsters

Star Trek, TDK, Cloverfield, Inception, Iron Man and Jurassic World are the only films I've been to that got standing ovations.

People when ape **** at the end of JW  TDK was the long ovation out of the bunch iirc. People were standing outside the theater still talking about it

BvS getting an ovation from the execs isn't really a big deal since it's a lock to make them a **** ton of money but I'm pretty sure it be an orgasmic moment for a lot of dudes on opening night

Weirdest moment I ever had in a movie theater was the dude next to me breaking down in tears when Nick Fury came on the screen at the end of Iron Man & I have a feeling this movie with create that kind of excitement for a large amount of its opening night audience

Some people clapped at the end of F4 last night in my theater. :smh: :x I just yelled out "shut up!".

Jurassic world? You watch that in a kindergarten class?

That's a weird insult  but nah although there were a lot of kids there. Afternoon screening on the 2nd weekend

Took my nephew and a couple of his friends, they're 7th graders if that helps

It's not an insult

To give Jurassic world a standing ovation IMO would take a crowd of kids and lots of candy

never witnessed a standing ovation but the biggest applause i've ever heard at the movies was Transformers when Optimus transformed for the first time

If I wasn't with kids to see it I probably wouldn't of enjoyed the movie tbh lol

excluding parents I'd say it was probably 85% people under 18... Lots of high schoolers on dates

when they release the ..... Towards the end for the final fight people literally jumped up shouting

Not gonna lie though, the way the hybrid got murked got a reaction out of me too

People actually do standing ovations at movie theaters? I've never seen one. Seems corny.

I started one for "Muppets Take Manhattan" when I was a kid.

My mom reminds me of that to this day. The crowd was with me. :nthat:

That was a really good fun movie for me.

Wish they made more movies like that (there have been some since but I want more).
