DC Studios THREAD - GunnVerse Begins - Chapter ONE: Gods & Monsters

I had a thought today..

Considering snyder's fondness for dream sequences, it's probably best the other directors in the DC universe avoid them

But a better way for SS to have handled the whole enchantress thing, would be for flag to volunteer for all the missions Waller tries to send enchantress on.. Since he wants to avoid putting ole girl through that

Then Waller either sets him up or he bites off way more than he can chew and ole girl is forced to let out the enchantress to save him.. But I guess DC might think that is too hulk like

Establish the protagonist.. Establish a setting and town.. And the make sure the antagonist would actually fit with and within those things

Which I don't really think is the case currently with most of what was seen in SS.. Then what I saw previously in MOS and BvS (and previews for WW and JL)

I hope they shake up the roster as well. Don't wanna see Boomerang and Croc again

Went for a 2nd viewing today. Usually, i like the movie the 2nd time around. It's the opposite this time :x

I didn't mind Joker at first but now i wished they didn't include him in this movie at all.

I did appreciate some of the actors performances more but that's it.

I just want Deathstroke to show up in any of the movies. Have him be awesome like the tv version without the stupid cw simp motivation.

Villains were weak and had a stupid motivation. They never even told us what the name of one of them was. Didn't they write the script in 6 weeks?

I meant weak in that they were very meh. They were def strong though with their magic.

I still can't get over how bad this movie sucked bro.

Lowkey this movie had garbage written all over it from the start but we tried to force ourselves to want it to be good. I cant even try to convince myself it was after seeing it twice.

I'm kind of wondering how they would handle a sequel. If it takes place after the Batman solo film, then the roles Joker and Harley play would be vastly different, if they're involved in the movie at all. I do think that a sequel would be a good place to introduce Oswald Cobblepot though :nerd:

I still want to know what this giant machine that Enchantress said she would create that would end us and our obsession with technology once and for all was supposed to be. Was the tornado step one?

There's no in between with this movie
Nah I see a lot of middle ground.

Maybe half a dozen ppl have said they loved it. The ppl who like it or were entertained are really aware of the faults, really aware. Then there's the ppl who really didn't like it/hated it which seems to be growing but roughly the same complaints in that group too.

If there was a better poll with a 3rd option I think that would be clearer.

This obviously wasn't handled well and never fleshed out. The plan is to destroy mankind’s machines, returning humanity to its baser forms and regain control over them. From what I've gathered, Enchantress uses her power and magic to create a huge tornado of sorts to accomplish this. I'm guessing Enchantress refers to this as a "machine" as the tornado picks up debris and her magic electrifies it, resulting in the blasts that they show taking out satellites and other integral forms of machinery.
