Made my man Galactus into a ******* cloud :smh: :smh: :smh: Should have just gone with a completely different villain altogether.
 
so i watched this again to give it another shot because i didn't like it at all the first time...i thought maybe i was tired from work. 

but this movie is horrible. it's even worse the 2nd time...

oh well wonder woman looks really good. 
 
The way Harley said those classic lines like "puddin," "Mr J," and "Stop ruining our date batz" (when batman was on top of the lambo) sounded just like from the animated series.

Margot really killed that role imo.

No one else heard or saw Morgan from Mindy Project give Harley a bedazzled phone and bascially yell "Joker" as they were being transported?

Boomerang "comic relief" fell short, pink stuffed animal for no reason. Was it his kid's? I don't know, his back story didn't make the final edit.

What exactly makes boomerang better than Rick's soldiers?

Harley took the elevator, but somehow everyone beat her to whatever floor they were on, did they use slipnot's grappling hook to get up there?

Elevater doors opening with whole squad aiming, Avengers did it better

No one in the squad could take, or shoot, or steal Amanda Waller's Samsung galaxy S5? Really?

Camera on boomerang's boomerang was more stable than most of the final third of the movie

CGI was terrible for enchantress's brother, diablo's prison scene and fire dancer, end weapon debris

Speaking of diablo, when getting recruited, he declined and say, thats not me, I don't do that anymore, but then he uses fire to write "BYE" like HE STILL DOES IT ALL THE TIME...

Enchantress' plan of wiping out the human race by building a weapon?  She could've just used a combination of our own weapons, which she already knows exists

Enchantress fight scene?  Why?

The sqaud's mission was to evac a VIP who was already on the top floor of a skyscrapper to get onto a roof to get in a helicopter?  Rick Flag's team couldn't do that?  Harley, boomerang, slipnot, croc, are people you want for an escort mission?  Again, what could those people do that highly trained soldiers couldn't?

The inital plan was to use a bomb to blow them up from underneath, again soldiers couldn't do that?

Rick Flag hugging Deadshot was so forced to make the movie more light-hearted

Imagining The Joker TEXTING harley

jokers heists in general had me scratching my head. Dude breaks into some sort of super high security military base by killing the guard at the front gate then walking in with machine guns? What? :rofl: :rofl:

The suicide squad all supposed to be bad ***** but they all get dropped with ease by tranquilizer darts?



Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix came out in 2007! Two Thousand ******* Seven!!!!!!! Why do these fire special effects crap all over diablo's fire special effects?!

The batmobile is such a staple of every batman incarnation, can we see more than .02 seconds of it? It just drives joker off a cliff, can we not see some sort of gadgetry?

Batman flys down and karate kick/catches deadshot? I'd rather see him hack his phone and echolocation find him :rofl:

Who are they even fighting the whole movie? Black blob thingy's that used to be humans? cool. Enchantres opens up some portal for some reason? I'm glad they know to just throw a bomb into this random portal thing to blow it up.

Katana?

Killer "Gucci Mane" Croc?

Amanda Waller decides to just up and murder her office of people because "they didn't have clearance." What?! Didn't she choose to work with those guys? Isn't she the big boss? And what's stopping her from killing the rest of the suicide squad once they completed their task? Because she got a conscience all the sudden? She still believes they are powerful enough to stop a rogue superman? without diablo? Right >D

And Rick Flag preaches the entire movie about how dishonorable of a person deadshot is because he kills people. Waller blasts all those dudes that have families and **** probably and he pretty much isn't phased by that?




There were some entertaining parts of the movie but theres a huge difference between saying I was kinda entertaining and saying it was a "good movie"

The copter shooting out those flare missile things was cool. When enchantress first showed up by having that hand come out and flip around was cool.
Harley quin was a well written entertaining character.
Will Smith was awesome and it was refreshing to see him back to Bad Boys, Independence day greatness. His story was awful though.
Joker was decent, I wanted a lot more, but I understand why they only gave us a taste.
It just felt to me like everything about the movie was rushed and little effort was put into it, in order to make the most money. Plan worked I'm sure. Just a decent movie, but I can't bring myself to say it was good. But Iike plenty of movies that aren't good, like I stated earlier, I liked League of Extraordinary gentleman even though it's considered a bad movie by most. Same thing applies here.
 
im sure its not easy just to take amanda waller's phone and disarm the implanted bomb in their necks

someone of her stature would have a fail-safe on the phone that only she can use and deactivate

joker was the only one to disarm harley's because he actually went and captured the scientist in charge of the device
 
I must be the only one who loved the Joker-Harley subplot

Such a complete and well developed relationship and Ayer took it to dimensions hitherto unseen

The scene where she flashes back to her chemical bath and then pulls the gun on Deadshot was so dope to me

No I enjoyed it as well and mentioned as much in my review. Different, but a good kind of different that was handled nicely.

i thought enchantress rhythmic dances were sexy as ****

i was hyped for captain boomerang but he was pretty average

and i thought there was more than enough joker considering he wasnt even in the main plot line

they did a good job of spacing out his scenes so it seemed like his screen time was longer and just enough to want more

loved the joker

if she is gonna shake dat *** then she should go full shakira. otherwise...looks ridiculous...like when she turned to her brother to fight the squad, she turned to her left but with both hands like she was doing the jackson thriller. def had me like :rolleyes *this movie man...*

also margot robbie was kind of meh in them booty shorts...could be the waist to hip ratio being meh idk.


personally, i want to see all the joker footage, or even see him in a full movie as part of the main plot. i just don't think he was utilized enough or even well for me to judge leto on what was shown, so i really can't say he was this or that. him being in the movie or being omitted i think wouldn't change a thing about how i feel about the story.
 
Movie was far from perfect, biggest flaw IMO was the editing....they did the best they could fleshing out these characters. I think if we would have had a Deadshot solo, a Harley/joker movie and even a Katana solo before this, then we have them assemble with the rest of the squad this could have been on par with avengers, Visuals were legit great and I they did an amazing job connecting Willshot with the audience...I walked away truly invested in his character.

Tbh Will and Margo carried the movie and I will be happy to see their solo films, specially Wills....Diablo got corny when he went all Torretto on me :x Killer Croc was cool I guess...he really didn't do much, Enchantress suffered from bringing in her lame brother, the movie didn't need him.Capt Boomerang was good comic relief....probably Jai Courtney's best role EVER.

Anyways, I walked away satisfied, not mindblown, but I can def see myself owning the blu Ray.


LETO killed it too....oh yeah, this movie further solidifies Batfleck as quite possibly the GOAT bats.
 
Oh forgot to mention, the visual strength of the scene at the end with Willshot holding Harley's gun over his daughters head and the slow motion, that **** gave me chills, it was beautifully done and possibly my favorite scene in the whole movie....yeah Will as Deadshot lowkey in my top 7 comic book characters brought to film.

Really?  That whole scene in slow-mo took forever.  I lost count of how many times I rolled my eyes in real time.  Way to excessive use of slow-mo

:lol: at dude who said Enchantress dancing was sexy. That dance was atrocious. This movie is only good if you don't care what DC puts out or watch on some sort of mind altering substance. I still have a hard time believing Ayer can stand by this movie.
