I can't see them really calling the film Suicide Squad. Soccer moms all across the country will throw the most massive hissy-fit in history. They ain't gonna take their kids to a "suicide" movie. But if they do keep the title......hopefully it'll be rated R.

I really doubt Will is gonna be in Suicide Squad. How would he play? He wants to the lead, and if he's a prominent villian he is gonna show up in the other DC movies and play second fiddle to the hero.

Love this news. This is really the first WB/DC casting news that has me excited. Jared Leto is an excellent actor and can totally pull this off. My only concern is how the character is written. WB/DC would be wise to get this deal ASAP.

They won't call is Suicide Squad for sure, even the animation film base on the team is called Assault on Arkham.
Plus iirc they won't even call Deathstroke in the Teen Titans cartoon, they had to call him Slade. They probably wouldn't go far as that and not at all call them Suicide Squad in the film but then again who knows?

They do on Arrow, in context it makes sense. But to bitter stay at home moms with nothing better to do the title might be off putting, and probably some publicity those big names theyre aiming for won't want.

... I've always thought McGinnis was Asian too, and I don't even know why.
But no BS, if they wanted to REALLY change things up, a Batman Beyond with an Asian lead would be an INSANE idea. I actually always thought it was going to be a natural progression with the character anyway, considering he'll have to pass it down and he is A DAMN NINJA.

I'd watch this but I always wanted the live action universe of Static to be on some hood ****. I want Dakota to really be like modern day Chicago.
I hope they got good writers and keep his origin story the same (he got his powers in a gang war).
So I don't know if Trollmaster weirdo I don't wear pants and I want to get my penis removed and be genderless Jaden Smith is the best choice.
But being honest, I never saw him act so I don't know. If he can pull it off, more power to the troll master.

Static always been one of my favorite heroes as a kid because there were so few black heroes, and as a kid I was doing research on Milestone, I always appreciated how their heroes were diverse. I remember there was a site that had a database of all the synopsis of their comics. It's dead now, can only access through the internet database that lets you view old pages.
Anyways, I said all that to say that I hope they take this project seriously and don't just throw some bull **** out there.

Margot Robbie is hot as ****. I have no doubt that she will look fantastic. As for her acting ability, I've haven't seen her in anything else other than WoW, so we'll see.
