DC Studios THREAD - GunnVerse Begins - Chapter ONE: Gods & Monsters

I'm kinda shocked at how open the people at Suicide Squad are of showing pics of actors in costume /set photos/group pics/etc

BVS filming shrouded in secrecy compared to this

Margot looks spot on as Harley Quinn.
Yea. Like there haven't been any set photos of Gal Gadot or anything about her besides that first image.

It's obviously to beat the bootleg set pics, I mean look the same day the group pic officially releases then the set pic comes out a few hours later. Ayer probably knows they'll be shooting outside and it'll be seen so they are taking a different approach as a fan service or to just get it out of the way.

it's easier to hide some actors if their main scenes are indoors or in front of the green screen.

I wanted Harley to look more like Harley from the animated show or a mix of it but w/e.

I know and care little to nothing for DC villains or this book in the comics medium so I don't even have anything bad to say about that pic. The costumes don't look all that good to me but lets hope the movie is good.

I'll say this much the look of that team makes it seem more like a Joel Kinnaman movie than a Will Smith flick. Got that dirty/grungy 90s sci-fi action type look. Spawn comes to mind.
lmao Tom Hardy won
 Probably true.
Wonder if Will is smashing again on set? Why isn't the Joker on there? And it's he appearing in BvS as well.
For the entire time now these self-promo pics by Leto don't even indicate he'd be in SS  and he's suppose to just cameo in SS anyway so that's why he's probably not in the group pic. It really does look like he's been hyping his own Joker movie though.

It makes sense that Joker isn't in the pic as that is probably the Suicide Squad, Joker isn't part of that group and he is likely one of the villains they'd have to face or even capture in the film.

Based on that pic though, feels like half of them are disposable and likely to die in the movie.

I'm still shocked will smith is in this.....
I wasn't the only one

.

He's gotta be working Robbie. I hope this is good. I'm really looking forward to this more than DoJ.

Tom Hardy explains why he left Suicide Squad:

"There’s a very practical element as to why I’ve missed out on that foray, which is because Alejandro [G. Inarritu] has overshot by three months in Calgary, so we’ve got to go back out to Patagonia or Alaska to continue shooting The Revenant which has turned into a much bigger beast than we thought, but that also looks exceptional.

“Literally we wrapped in Calgary for now until we go back in July. It would have smashed the two, I would’ve had a beard. It was just not gonna happen so I got ***-slammed technically out of Suicide Squad, gutted, so I had to hand it over to Joel Kinnaman, who will do an amazing job. It’s just I got bumped out, and that’s cool that’s the way it is.

"Warner Bros. is my home studio and I love them so I was really bummed out. I wanted to work on that and I know the script is really [frick]ing alley and I also know what’s gonna happen with The Joker and Harley Quinn in that; I won’t give away too much…it’s [frick]ing alley. And that whole territory is something that I would certainly—I mean, everybody loves The Joker. Everybody loves The Joker. Will Smith is a dope guy, but everybody loves The Joker and that’s gonna, I think, be a very important film for fans."

What the hell is freaking alley? Or ******* alley? Whatever. As in, right up their alley, or what?

As for the joker mentions, multiple times..........

Oh.

I think he's saying that his character would've been 4th behind joker, Harley, and will. And since he's s fairly big name he doesn't need that

The only people who will most likely survive are batman, joker, Harley and deadshot
