DC Studios THREAD - GunnVerse Begins - Chapter ONE: Gods & Monsters

Well just like a movie, after a month it's fair game. Thing came out in June.

Wut? It doesn't take a month to watch a movie. There are tons of people who haven't beaten the game. Just because dudes on YouTube play on Easy and breeze through to ***** for views doesn't mean it won't take more time for others

I mean I beat the game after about 3 weeks but that took non stop 8 hour days. Games and movies are not the same experience

So I guess the ones who don't get why people were ticked off are the type to just breeze though a game within the first week? Not everyone wants to/can finish games asap. A spoiler is a spoiler imo,not hard to see why that would be upsetting when that's the big reveal of the game .

Even if I don't breeze through the game in a week if I'm with friends talking about it and they talk about the end or I'm online and accidentally read how this stage is suppose to be completed I'm not gonna get mad about it.

Cuz when I get back to the game I can easily put that out of my mind or if I don't I can use that and the experience is still fun as ****.

The whole don't spoil me bro growing outrage is annoying as **** to me and I usually only see it online.

I had the ending spoiled of Arkham Knight the day before it came out because of FB.... |I

Game was still awesome though and I am still playing it when I have some downtime... :pimp:

Some of us have jobs and responsibilities and we can't spend all day playing video games. It takes me a while just to start a new game. I actually have a backlog. I normally just hop on a shooter or sports game and play a little bit. When I have the free time (and more time) I start a new game.

It ruins the experience when you're spoiled. You don't get the full effect of the plot twists and the stuff in the game that is supposed to surprise you. I forgot this was NT though. Home of the belligerent people who disregard their consideration for others.

I'm going to recommend to my friends who haven't watched The Sopranos or The Wire to watch them and spoil the story and tell them who dies. They're old shows. It's their fault they didn't see them day one.

My last post on this before moving on to movie talk cause it's gotten silly.

Like I mentioned,I'm not mad personally . Just that I 100% get where the people that are would be coming from. If you don't mind spoilers, cool,me neither that much when it comes to movies but revealing the twist that a whole main story was based on could understandably get a person upset . How is that incomprehensible? I mean the spoiler wasn't even relevant to this thread...

Nolan didn't want to do anymore superhero film, I think he pretty much satisfied all his desire after completing the trilogy. I don't think any amount of money would have pulled him back to do more.

    Yea what RFX said

Yea, Nolan said his universe was grounded and didn't intend on having "out there" character/characteristics within his universe... That's why he changed the Lazarus Pit into a prison of some sort etc..
So instead, have your legacy undermined by cheap popcorn flicks played up as "epic" blockbusters?

How is it messing up his legacy? These new ones aren't his movies, I think he helped produce man of steel though. He messed up his own trilogy with tdkr.

Yeah, my friends who are gamers just play when they get home from work or play a lot on weekends.

Yeah, I have a full-time job and I just find time after I get home or sometime during the weekend to hop on my PS4.

But even when I was a youngin comin up, I dont think I've ever spent 8+ hours playin a game.

Yall gotta get introduced to yambz or somethin

True.

Once you get a solid paying full time job, it's a wrap.
Not always true.
I have a full-time job, currently in school for my Master's degree and have a daughter being born any day know and I still managed to beat the game in 10 days.
Your priorities are obviously out of whack.
jk, I'm planning a wedding, implementing software at work, and haven't even opened the game yet.

haha, all good. I have a guy who works P/T for me and we actually went to Gamestop to buy the game together and I know he's still only about halfway done. No idea what he does with all his time but yeah, we all have different paces.

But I do feel a month after release is ample time for spoilers. And that's coming from somebody who never finishes games usually. Arkham Knight was a one-off with the quickness

Jay, congrats on the little girl man, have one myself, I can assure you, she'll change your life. Best wishes on her delivery for her and momma.

Real talk. Congratulations Jay. It's a beautiful thing, but lemme get back to this.

Everyone's life is different. Not everyone sees every show and movie or plays every game soon after they release. So if I haven't seen or played something soon after it's release, it's my own fault for being spoiled? I always ask people if they've seen something before I talk about it. Because if they're interested in it, then they can consume it on their own time.

If you really don't care about spoiling something for someone, just own it. Don't sugar coat it or say it's the persons fault for being spoiled. Now if I went in the Arkham Knight thread and started reading people talk about the ending, then that would be on me.
