Hollywood half *** attempt at diversity is just take a old concept and put women or people of color in it. God forbid they actually come up with a thoughtful story with a diverse cast

I wonder what the plan is with Deadshot. They paid Will a ton of money but he doesn't really work as a main character in any non-suicide squad story. Doesn't seem like the type to be happy with smaller cameos.

He'll show up in Batman films. Probably something close to Rumlow/Crossbones was in the last two Cap films, but a little more significant. The first Batfleck film is supposed to have a few villains in it.

Depends on What the budget is also. The ghostbusters movie had a budget of 144 million dollars. Which was ridiculous. That's almost the suicide squads budget minus the reshoots. Oceans 8 will likely be around 80-90 million making the necessary box office money to be considered a hit much less.
Like Melissa McCarthy is a draw but not enough of a draw to warrant that kind of budget.
I think he'd either be in Suicide Squad 2 or a solo Harley movie if they have one.

Deadshot could be prominent in this universe; Batman solo film, Harley solo film if it happens, Suicide Squad 2. I don't think he'll get his own movie, but I do think we'll see plenty more of him.

Deadshot won't be the primary villain. He's not that type of character.

I don't think they would make Deadshot the primary villain in the Batman solo movie. Joker should play the main antagonist, but I don't see why Deadshot can't flourish as a secondary villain.

We're overdue for a Riddler showdown.
Not the goofy slapstick spandex rocking one, but the articulate, cold, suit wearing one, who can son Batman on an intellectual level. They need to make a flick where Riddler is controlling most of Batman's villains without them realizing and he masterminds a puzzle, leaving a trail of crime and casualties that Batman has to prevent while finding out what's really going on.

So many ways they can deal with a batman solo. A flashback story seeks inevitable with the Joker since they brought up the death of Robin twice.

I don't necessarily think this is going to be the case moving forward. Otherwise, why didn't he just kill Deadshot and Harley when he had the chance? Hell, why didn't he just ram Joker and Harley in the Lambo and be done with them?
