DC Studios THREAD - GunnVerse Begins - Chapter ONE: Gods & Monsters

Marvel needs a female hitter so Captain Marvel was the logical choice

I just don't understand how they're gonna introduce Danvers without Mar-Vell

^^Captain Marvel?

I don't recall in seeing her in any films though, don't know if she has what it takes to carry a movie
She's been in a good amount of movies but I don't think any have been the lead role. Been in a bunch of supporting roles some of them action films.

I know she was in I Am #4 in a bit of an action role and I think that one movie playing a hot assassin/secret agent in one of those older actors being action stars a la Liam Neeson.

They introduced Ultron without Ant-Man. They don't care.
They can kill Mar-vell early or just give some powers via a Kree artifact or something the Inhumans lost.
Anyone have any guesses who they cast as Cap. Marvel?
Probably should move all this talk to the MCU thread now

There was a list for Cap Marvel candidates though.

If I remember right it was between Teresa and what's her name for the Jessica Jones role.

Maybe Marvel will still have Teresa in mind for something else.

What??? And they picked that ritter chick with that weird looking face???
They both did scenes with homey playing Luke Cage to see the chemistry and apparently Marvel chose Ritter. So I guess it really came down to acting ability and chemistry since the dude playing Cage was never going to change apparently.

But I dunno. Maybe Teresa doesn't look that good with dark hair

If some of you get your wish and they cast Blake Lively
sick.gif
People actually want her for the role?

Did no one see her in GL?

Word is that rifle that Battfleck had in the trailer was some kind of a Kryptonian laced spear.

I'd just like to see da gawd Khal Drogo show up and wash both of these dudes and ride off on a seahorse or sealion.

James Wan Closes Deals to Direct 'Aquaman' and 'Robotech'

James Wan has closed his deal to develop and direct Aquaman, Warner Bros.’ superhero movie that will star Jason Momoa and that is part of its DC Entertainment cinematic universe.

At the same time, Wan has also closed his deal to helm Robotech, Sony’s adaptation of the 1980s anime featuring mechas.

The moves clear up Wan’s post-Furious 7 future. The filmmaker became a hot property after his deft handling on the challenging production and after the movie became a runaway success, with over $1.4 billion in global box office receipts.

Wan is also committed to directing The Conjuring 2: The Endfield Experiment for New Line this fall and will likely be unavailable to tackle his next project until spring 2016.

^ Yes, let Wan flourish.

I think Aquaman will be a challenge for him, but I'm sure he can pull it off.

Benny bout to come out with a krytonite laced headband

Watch lex luthor be the creator of kryptonie in this movie
