DC Studios THREAD - GunnVerse Begins - Chapter ONE: Gods & Monsters

Thought I'd see more positive responses in here.

I thought everyone knew about the whole "Worlds Finest" thing :nerd:

And for others asking about Justice League. JL was originally planned for 2015, but WB realized MOS, despite the backlash, made a ton of money.

A sequel to MOS was inevitable, but then it would take too much time to set up for JL with the other heroes, so one compromise and alteration they had to make was knock two birds with one stone. So instead of a stand alone Batman reboot, they'd just combine it with Snyders Superman.

So according to reports this morning, even before the Batman/Superman announcement. Flash is set for 2016 and Justice League for 2017.

ohhh??? :pimp:

What was wrong with Amy Adams? She's a great actress.

I liked the movie, but she looks old enough to be my mom sometimes (I'm 24). That's gonna be even worse by the time the sequel comes out

Amy Adams was horribly miscast as Lois Lane. She was cast as a mulligan to her being passed over in Superman Returns for the equally as bad Kate Bosworth. Her age showed in multiple scenes because of the filter used. She'll be in her mid 40s by the time the third movie was shot. Snyder's rendition of Lane sucked as well.

Eh, I didn't think she looked old.

tom cruise is a great actor too, but he shouldnt play zod.....

That still doesn't answer the question tho. What was the problem with Amy Adams?

not feeling this

they should either focus on getting movies for other members of the league, building up to a Justice League movie (Flash movie is overdue . . .) . . . like Marvel did/is doing with the Avengers

OR they should have done Batman Beyond as a way to sort of continue the batman franchise without directly having to be based off of Nolan's world, but also not acting like it never happened . . .

Can't help but think this is going to be corny and forced . . . Not even giving Superman a chance to be strong as a franchise on it's own

Will definitely check it tho

So are they going to go off of the Batman Year One story line now? It was rumored some time ago.

They're gonna ruin this... but as long as they ruin it with the world getting to understand how:

Bats > Clark

Then I'm cool.

Batman is never going to be better than Superman.

Two different story lines, two different actors. Like in Spider-Man how they changed actors with the changed story line.

she was completely horrible and looked awkward during the whole movie. she spoke as if she was in a library the whole time. looks are subjective so i wont go there. overall she made the character of Louis lane beyond forgettable, lifeless, charmless, and "air head" like. Lane is supposed to be a "powerful" character, not Pam Beasley reborn

to her defense the bad writing didn't help her case

Fair enough. But like you mentioned, I think this was more so the result of bad writing than bad acting.

if amy was whack as lois, how SHOULD Lois be?

my only complaint i had about amy is that she looked like a variant Pam from The Office. had me thinking that they shoulda just used the real Pam.

just like Pacific Rim shoulda just used Rob Schnieder (i know i wasnt only person who saw Pacific Rim thinkin that lol)

 @ the amount of ppl drinking that Bale/Nolan koolaid. Unfortunately for Bale, nothing was provided for him in the trilogy to make him the pinnacle actor to portray Bruce Wayne/Batman.

I hope to everything this Batman does not have that dumb *** deep voice, some actual character development and personality is given to Bruce Wayne, and he's actually the detective and genius that he's been for 70+ years.

And Amy Adams is almost 40 yall, probably will be time of the sequel. @ some of yall mixing her up with Fischer that plays Pam with these jabs.

that voice in the Batman movies pisses me off to no end. Why are you talking like that when the person knows who you are? the @#$%? :smh:

Seriously why did they cast a 39 year old red head Pam look alike average housewife as Louis Lane?
She must have a really persuasive agent or no big name actress wanted to touch that role. Or she did it for free or very little money.

After watching the movie I didnt have a problem with her in the movie but reading yall posts made me think.

the bad press given to MOS had nothing to do with the story itself, it was the horrible way they rushed through it giving it all 0 meaning, emotion, or depth. not to mention Louis lane being played by what seems to be Pam from the office...... garbage

not to beat a dead horse but batman begins took the entire origin of bats from childhood to become batman and made it work in a way where the viewers cared

Lol I can picture Megan Fox in MoS. Any scene where there was dialogue, there would just be a slow camera pan from her half belly shirt up to her face.

This is a terrible idea. Way too soon. They need another stand alone Superman film before a team-up/vs movie. WB going about this the wrong way. They just care about the money.

Batman will outshine Superman due to the recent films. Superman, even after MOS still hasn't been established yet. You have to let the character settle in. The whole thing is being rushed.

Another thing that made me cringe, was the quote to introduce the project. They quoted Batman from The Dark Knight Returns. So is it a Vs. flim? :smh:

They are doing it all wrong.
