If J. Nolan had written or directed this I would've watched it twice day of premiere.

I don't care about this whole Marvel and DC nonsense, but Marvel makes some of the most childish,corny,and predictable movies on Earth and gets a pass for it somehow. There is definitely a bias again, I don't care either way since I haven't liked any of the superhero movies from either side in years; just writing about what I've observed

I mean outside of NT, if the masses all disagree with that or happen to really like the movies then it's not a bias or giving it a pass. Those are the movies they find most entertaining even if what you say about them are true. The general audience can look pass that and enjoy the other things they do great.

I tend to dislike the argument but the escapism angle does play a part.

These critics are just Marvel fanboys.

I'm not buying that report from Variety. Sounds like a bunch of BS. Snyder had nothing to do with SS. And even if he did David Ayers is still in control. This is his vision. See, this is that DC bias I been talking about. 

Yeah this doesnt look or feel anything like a Snyder.

Thats the thing with DCEU, each director gets to execute their own vision...for better or worse

BvS looks different compared to Suicide Squad which looks different compared to WW.

Contrast that with MCU, where every movie looks and feels the same and directors get dropped for not following the guidelines. MCU movies are pretty much engineered to get a good RT score

Assault on Arkham gave this movie the perfect blueprint. Not sure how they could screw it up. Not a good sign for Weekend 2 that it's getting killed already. Still excited for Friday tho.

I do think the critics have chosen sides and if a DC movie is decent to pretty good it gets hammered like the worst movie ever. Marvel has more than a couple weak movies and the RT scores are all pretty high. Don't think it's a coincidence or a true reflection of just the films.
