DC Studios THREAD - GunnVerse Begins - Chapter ONE: Gods & Monsters

Bruh what the **** do they have Momoa doing :x

Putting this ***** through Goku training

I hope the underwater scenes don't suck

I've seen other people do that Hawaiian training. Dropping and picking up those heavy rocks. Look like the people behind him are doing mermaid training.

Got Damn! That got aquaman training to be a beast. Zach really got these actors looking like their comics counterparts. I'm all for it.

@ How they have Mamoa training.

Can't wait.:pimp:

I thought the BvS extended cut made the movie a lot more palatable. It's still not a great movie, but it's a lot better IMO. Some of the stuff they cut out left me confused, though. There were so many reveals and additions that completely change the way you see certain characters.

Still could have been better, but

@ the studio for  chopping this up the way they did.

Still my favorite version from the comics and what I consider to be "Classic" Lex Luthor.
In the ultimate cut, Luthor says his dad is still alive.
I read Mr. Heisenberg himself will be cast as his father.....

My God. :wow: I'm sure that'd actually go over very well since Jr. wasn't received that well in this film. Would kind of make the shaving the head thing a little pointless though. Really him being Jr. and the hair worked since Lex pretended to be his son, with a full head of hair, back in the day anyways.

Then you've got pics like this floating around

Mark Strong would of been PERFECT as Lex. PERFECT.

He was Blackwood in Sherlock Holmes, Frank D'Amico in Kick-***, and Sinestro in (the only good part of) Green Lantern. The guy is a genuinely good actor and he's been proven to be a good comic book villain too. Parts of the villains he's played already have aspects of Lex Luthor. He's already bald and he even looks like a live action Lex Luthor.

The experimental Lex didn't work. It didn't resonate like they thought it would. I was skeptical of Eisenberg from the jump, but I was hoping he would play Lex differently than his other roles and surprise us by transforming into the classic Lex and crushing it. Instead we got this stammering goofball with strange looking hair feeding Jolly Ranchers to dudes. Looking like Lex had a son who was on MTV's My Super Sweet 16 asking for Superman and Batman to fight for him on his birthday. :smh:

I still love BVS. I enjoyed it a lot. My only quarrels were the flow and Lex. Fix that and to me it's perfect.

Can't believe I'm the only one on NT who liked Jessie as Lex and the narrative interpretation of the character, sans a few things I would change. I think OKB might be in my corner on this one tho IIRC

To the point where I thought it would have been cool if he kept the hair. The Earth-3 Lexcorp Zuckerberg misotheist mashup was dope to me, with the exception of the crazy. No Jolly Ranchers, less stuttering, more cold sneering, and no ding dong ding dong and I would be perfectly satisfied.

Nope. I liked him too. A little quirky, but overall i liked his protrayal. It was different, but it worked for me. I respect the fact that others didn't

They should of had an Ultimate Jolly Rancher Edition. Each flavor represents a different character. Super Cherry, Blue Batberry, Wonder Watermelon, and Lemon Lime Luthor.
