According to a recent Latino Review post which doesn't appear to be conducted or acknowledged by the infamous El Mayimbe, a trusted source has informed them that the Fast and Furious series' Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson is working on a DC Comics film this year, and that project is none other than a Justice League movie. The report then reveals “the current thought amongst some insiders is that Batman vs Superman and Justice League are going to be shot back-to-back.” Besides “maximizing everyone’s schedules,” the reason for this is because Batman Vs. Superman “is going to end with an insane cliffhanger/teaser that leads right into Justice League.”

:smh: Hearing that Ben messed up his leg and that's part of the reason it's delayed, hope that's not true.

Releasing it in May tho, huge F U to Marvel :lol:

i dont care about anything in 2016.

im shocked everyDAY that i made it alive so something two years away isnt of great concern of mine.

this was the movie i was looking forward to the most
 
Again? I remember MoS was pushed back from its' initial release of December '12 (because of The Hobbit) to summer of 2013.

Oh well, hopefully the extra time will be good for the film and the overall DC cinematic universe.

Aside from the Amazing Spiderman series, I've lost a lot of interest in Marvel's movies. Iron Man 3, The Avengers, and Thor 1 just didn't do it for me. So I wouldn't be as excited for another Avengers movie as I would Man of Steel 2/ JLA
 
Just lost a whole lot more interest in anything Batman vs. Superman since they pushed it back for w/e reason. This just gives Marvel more opportunity to build more momentum in to 2015 and beyond.

Still don't give a **** about Aquaman or who plays him.

What's funny about that is the date they pushed the movie back to is the same date as an unannounced phase 3 Marvel movie which has been speculated to be Dr. Strange among other rumored heroes (Black Panther, Inhumans, etc.)

I dont wanna wait over 2 years for this movie. It better be damn good, but I feel like WB will **** it up somehow
Also think about this: DC has this movie and maybe Justice League in development.
Marvel has: Captain America, Amazing Spider Man 2, X Men days of future past, Guardians of the Galaxy, Avengers 2,Fantastic 4 reboot, Ant Man.......all coming out before 2016

Difference is Marvel has a lot of different studios doing their films and even just Marvel Studios alone has a huge backing in Disney so they can produce more films in a year, not to mention that they make a whole lot more overall in their films. This is likely one of the biggest reason Marvel doesn't want to get the other properties back.

DC is pretty much stuck with WB. Actually up until last year, WB partnered with Legendary pictures but that partnership has ended and it's all WB now. WB also has to focus on other big projects like The Hobbit franchise, Godzilla, Interstellar, Edge of Tomorrow, 300, etc... that they hope can make them big bucks. When the Potter and first LotR series ended, along with the Nolanverse Batman being finished, WB kind of got desperate with a cash cow on the box office. Granted WB could do more films for sure but they just haven't been as successful as Marvel, GL was a flop and that was one of their biggest hero venture outside of Superman and Batman, had that been a success, I am almost certain WB would be more anxious to pump out more DC properties.

for the upteenth millionth time. Spiderman is Sony. Those terrible Fantastic 4 and X-Men movies are Fox

Marvel has nothing to do with the production of any of those. Which is why even the worst Avengers movies are Leagues better than the F4 and X-Flicks

Marvel has Captain America, Guardians, Avengers 2, Ant-Man, and an unrevealed project coming out by the time BvS comes out.

It makes more sense now when the average movie goer wonders why Batman, Spidey, etc. weren't in Avengers. Marvel characters in different studios are basically dominating the superhero movie market.

The new rumor I'm hearing now is Batman vs. Superman will be filmed back to back with Justice League and BvS will end with a big cliff hanger leading in to JL

Man DC is doing some horrible casting. Ben Affleck as Batman? I mean it's a long shot and affleck has the acting...

Sawyer as aquaman? Hope thats only a rumor.

If DC ***** this up they can't fall back on the tdk franchise anymore, they're gonna have to wait another 5-10 years to push something out.

I wouldv'e really like the rock in a Marvel movie. Luke Cage, a suped up Thrasher for a new warriors movie, suped up forge in an x-men movie, warpath, the dude could have endless roles and his acting would fit in with a Marvel movie.

Sad.
 
Outside of Affleck as Batman, Gadot as WW and the film being pushed back, everything else is a rumor.


There's also a rumor that they are "casting" all these characters because they plan to shoot the sequel and JL movie at the same time, WB loved doing it with the last Harry Potter film and the LotR series'. There is also a rumor that the sequel will end in a gigantic cliffhanger. Again take that with a grain of salt.
 
Hopefully with this delay they can reconsider and cast a minority as one of the main superheroes in the JL movie.

Ryan Goslin wouldn't even take the role. He wants to be seen as an artist. He rejects a lot of roles that would be beneficial for his career.
