I couldn't make it through all of Catwoman and I wish I didn't watch all of BvS.

Those are (cult) classics and worked for the time period though. They still hold up if you take into account the time and subculture they were made in.

Batman Forever, Phantom, Catwoman, Wolverine, Age of Apoc, Ghost Rider, BVS, Green Lantern, F4, Spider Man 3, 90's Captain America, Elektra... These were legit trash at the time and will always be trash. Nowadays, we also have certain standards that modern comic movies have put forth.

Yeah to me there's a difference from approaching this as I want mindless action flicks and this was a really good movie regardless of being a comic book movie.

The former wreaks of low standards if you're saying was it better than Ghost Rider 2 :x :lol: If the bar is set so low then reviews good or bad shouldn't matter to you at all nor the zeitgeist of where the majority is heading opinion wise.

That's like someone saying they didn't like Pacific Rim and someone replying hey at least it wasn't Transformers Dark of the Moon terrible. I'd just be like :stoneface:

According to who? You? You don't speak for anybody but yourself. And a dud would constitute a movie like Steel or Batman and Robin. Thats why I can't take some yall statements seriously.

BVS definitely has flaws. It's nowhere near perfect, but you guys are going to extremes. I understand y'all don't like or don't want to like the DCEU. What's the point in continuing to follow or watch the movies if it makes you miserable? It doesn't even sound constructive or critical at this point. It's just put downs.

Some random guy on YouTube has a "reputable" friend who told him something? That's just someone exploiting people with a clickbait title looking for a come-up. All it's going to do is ruffle feathers and get people who want anything to corroborate their dislike to be like, "See! Told you DC can't make a good movie! Some guy on the internet's friend told him!".
 
Nah, people want to like these movies. The hate that gl and bvs got was well deserved. As audiences, we want better movies to watch. If ss isn't good then i'm going to be heated.

I liked BvS but even I called the theatrical cut "dumb" and complain about the flaws as much as I praise what was good

Just on a personal level I don't see how GL or Catwoman can be compared to it in terms of overall quality *Kanye shrug*

C'mon now. It's not so black and white. There are people who were genuinely excited for BVS, but there were definitely people who were ready to not like it. For three years leading up to BVS, there was an insane amount of scrutiny and pessimism that other CBM's didn't have to face. You could easily tell who wasn't going to like it before it released.
 
I dunno why cause I know they spent more for BvS, but doesn't it feel like they been promoting SS WAY more than any other movie this year? :lol:

Like others said people are fiending for this movie to drop that **** crept up on us

Well in the end those people were right. dc can shut up critics and haters by putting out awesome movies.
