DC Studios THREAD - GunnVerse Begins - Chapter ONE: Gods & Monsters

Exclusive - 'Justice League: Dark' Script In Studio Hands Today

http://www.forbes.com/sites/markhug...ice-league-dark-script-in-studio-hands-today/

Fans have been wondering about the future of Guillermo del Toro’s cinematic adaptation of the DC Comics series Justice League: Dark, since the project wasn’t included in Warner Bros.’ announcement last month of their upcoming slate of superhero movies. The movie, tentatively titled Dark Universe, has been confirmed as a work in progress since the director confirmed it back in early 2013. Since then, however, we’ve have had to make do with only occasional updates, including word that the movie would exist in its own universe and likely not cross over with the other unified DC cinematic world of Superman, Wonder Woman, Batman, and other heroes.. When the series Constantine premiered on NBC this fall, many fans worried it might signal Warner Bros. had changed their minds about pursuing a feature film incarnation of Justice League: Dark (which isn’t a commentary on the show, which is terrific).

Well, thing just took a big leap forward. Today, the completed screenplay for Dark Universe officially went to weekend reads at Warner Bros. The studio’s reactions to the script will be coming back in a few days, and the film could take another step toward production if Warner has a favorable opinion of what they see on the page. The director confirmed the script’s completion and status while I chatted with him about his FX horror series The Strain (watch for that article coming in a few days, dear readers!).

Wow, just saw that Amy Adams was in Smallville. Lol at a random villain of the week in season 1 going on to be the latest Lois Lane

I feel old

Smallville had soooo many cameos and appearances, from both famous and pre-fame actors/celebs... probably more than any other TV show ever. Many even got their big break from it such as Evangeline Lilly (who was an extra before she got cast for Lost).

On top of that, alongside Amy there's another 3 former Smallville "alumni" who also appear in Man of Steel

That hasn't clicked with me until you brought it up.

Be honest, you looked that up didn't you

I know the guy that played Dr. Hamilton on SV was in MOS. He was a military guy. Didn't remember Amy though lol.

Nah I remember it vividly. It was weird and creeped me out. Plus she was like the main threat for that ep.

I loved Smallville. If there was an active thread I could go all day discussing all of the weird or cool one and done antagonists.

With Amy Adams though, there's like 3 versions of her. The fine *** one, the old dull looking one like in MOS, and then the really young baby looking one like she was in Smallville and also in Catch Me If You Can.
Lmao, just YouTubed Evangeline Lilly's one scene in Smallville. Shows everyone has to start somewhere..
Now that I don't remember.

She didn't have a line. She literally was in the episode for all of ten seconds.

As for Amy, I think I did watch that episode she was in. But it was so long ago and before she 'made it' that I never made the connection till I saw the clip today, browsing the internet. Mind was blown. Impressive that you made the connection without needing to look it up. **** was more than ten years ago man

Looking at the spoiler and I don't understand what I've just seen. Guess I haven't watched enough of either MoS or Smallville lol

Ah forgot about the Lex clone. I think that was after Rosenbaum left right? Just trying to figure out the timeline lol. Been a while since I watched.

I wish I was active looking stuff up online back when I watching Smallville cuz w/e # season it was I was watching the whole damn thing just waiting for Lex to return after that weak death. Then it was this dumb fast growing baby clone. Only for him to come back late in the game with no memory of like 9 seasons of story. I literally didn't know he was off the cast for good until the next season. I would've expressed my anger like crazy when Rosenbaum left. Quality really dipped there (or right after that last truly great ep where Lana died and Clark had time reversed and then Johnathan died instead). Son was AMAZING as Lex. Them chats in his office/library with [insert any character] or when he would verbally spar with his father :smokin Dropping history lessons and quotes

Tess was fine as in sexy but a poor replacement and then trying to make John Glover run with things only to botch it was just sad. One minute he smashing Martha, the next he's evil again, next he's secretly supporting Clark behind the scenes, then he's dead or alt version shows up that's evil that ends up possessed by Darkseid :smh:

Now that I think about it, I probably know and just forgot but did they ever resolve Lana having super powers powered by kryptonite so she was forced to stay away from Clark and then basically having Kristin Kreuk off the show so they could ship Lois and Clark? :nerd:

Yeah it was after. Lex dies in some explosion in a truck or something or survives badly burnt. Then gets cloned. Tess comes in raising a baby Lex clone that's growing fast and it either gets real old or they had another clone that they fixed/stopped so Rosenbaum could make one more cameo.

I can't remember seeing cameos there. Stopped caring when Clark went to college and seemed to drop out after like 2 weeks. Kept watching until the show finished though. I do remember that Native American girl that Clark was trying to get with, she was pure fiyah. I forgot how she died but would've picked her over lana.

Zik, Lex was one of my favorite characters on Smallville.

His friendship with Clarke was great for me. I had to stop watching around when he started to become more evil and him and Clarke became more like enemies.

One episode that clearly sticks out in my mind after all this time is the Christmas episode where Lex saw a happy future with Lana but she ended up dying of some kind of disease. After that episode, I think the Lex character started getting more dark, and I had to stop watching

There's stuff being mentioned on here that I don't remember at all, like it doesn't ring a bell. Smallville sounds like it got even more crazy complicated in later seasons lol

I think I stopped watching the last 2-3 seasons... it just got too much and couldn't hold my attention.

It did have some great moments, though. And Rosenbaum was incredible as Lex.

I watched until they brought in Doomsday (which was sooooo bad). Then I was convinced to watch the last two seasons which were pretty good.

Tess was :pimp:
