DC Studios THREAD - GunnVerse Begins - Chapter ONE: Gods & Monsters

I said that because the new batsuit looks like he's just wearing it for no reason other than liking looking like a bat. I posted pics of a batsuit that payed homage to the classic look, which was the reason some people claimed they went that route, yet had purpose and practicality to it. That picture coincidentaly came from the AA games

Practicality doesn't mean realistic either. Just means the look matches the intent, and frankly, looks better if I do say so myself

This doesn't look realistic but it does look like batman can actually do some damage

And "comic book accurate" doesn't always look good hence my "THEN see what could be changed" statement.

Ugly suit :x

Only thing I don't like about the Bat suit or nothing Batman is the ugly Batman emblen. Must of been a fat bat

Margot in the group pic looked meh, but that set pic is slowly turning me into a true believer.

Ya im gonna need my girl dress like that one of these days :pimp:

That doesn't work because you just argued studios want's it realistic and when they do a comic accurate (unrealistic) where explanation isn't needed why Bats has been wearing it for 75 years then you say it shouldn't be that way. I mean comics have been wearing costumes for absolutely no reason other than so they look cool and that is the exact reason Bats wears a batman costume, to look like a bat and supposedly scare his opponents.

Practicality to an extent means realism, it is the only way you want it to be practical is so that it feels more real or possible.

You are better off saying "I don't like that, they should have been like the games" than contradicting yourself.

Again I am not trying to argue but just wanted to point that out, it doesn't quite add up. And I agree comic accurate doesn't always means it looks good but to me, that Bats coming straight from TDKR looks really good and feel like a comic book with the crazy muscles and not some guy with riot gear with a cape and pointy ears.

If it it'll satiate your practicality side then you can just assume Bats or StarLabs has developed a new fabric that is tougher than steel that cannot be penetrated by bullets or at least prevents some punches or kicks or knife shanks? I mean that isn't out of the realm of comic book possibilities. Mr Fantastic developed fabric that won't burn, goes invisible and stretch. Stark developed stretchy shorts for the Hulk.

At this point it's agree to disagree time. We're going back and forth over our view of realistic vs practicality. I didn't contradict myself but in your opinion I did due to your version is what you believe the relationship of those terms are.

Nobody is right or wrong. Just contrasting viewpoints

They all look wack, quite honestly. They look like a gathering of Scooby-Doo villains, as opposed to hardcore and legitimate comic-book villains. Perhaps things will get better after the first trailer, but as of now I'm very unimpressed.

I'm kinda shocked at how open the people at Suicide Squad are of showing pics of actors in costume /set photos/group pics/etc

BVS filming shrouded in secrecy compared to this

Margot looks spot on as Harley Quinn.
