***OFFICIAL NEW ENGLAND PATRIOTS SEASON THREAD*** (13-4) - Patriots @ Broncos - Sun 3:05PM EST - Bra

whyd it take them 3 weeks to place him on IR though ?

my only explanation is that Pats thought there could be a chance he fights through the injury and is game ready. clearly that never happened and they had to move on for now.

either way if this new D line keeps pressure from the outside forcing Bell to have to come up the middle i say we can shut that door.

rush Big Ben and keep that pocket closing in without giving him time to scan the field and rush throws we close that door. i definitely anticipate Patricia/Belichick to apply that pressure from the Dolphins second half in this game early on

hopefully our backs and safeties play well enough to allow that rush upfront to get to Big Ben because it's gonna take more than just one person to bring that boy down

i would love to see Gronk go off for 100+ and 2 TD :smokin

Ridley, Boldin, Blount 1 TD each :smokin

last point is wishful thinking that each back gets a score but you never know

today is the day that brady & co need to fix "it"

12 has traditionally passed ALL OVER the steelers. this year, they're not as strong as they've been historically. we're pretty healthy on offense now. no ******g excuses. block the pass rush....get open....and hit the receivers. run the ball up their ***. let's go offense

defense...keep doing what you've been doing :pimp:

finally , this offense is back

Dobson is REALLY coming along . clearly surpassed Thompkins at this point . that 2nd round pick is starting to pay off :smokin

The offense just felt so right tonight. Thats what im used to seeing and it feltgoodman. Gronk, Dobson, Amendola, And Ridley all put in that work tonight. Vereen and Talib back for the Carolina game i think :nerd: With the way the Carolina is playing, game should be pretty epic .

7-2 though business as usual :pimp:

also of note -- Belichick and McDaniels continued to play Ridley even after the fumble , and he went on to play very well for us in the remainder of the game . i think that goes a long way showing trust in him in that spot , when compared to other times in the season (Ridley's fumble against Buffalo ; Blount's against Cincy) dudes got benched for the rest of the game

man oh man, was "stuck" at my boy's kids bday party and he set up all his audio/video stuff in the basement...he created a makeshift man cave for the fellas to watch the games...naturally i flexed my muscles to keep it at the Pats game...tuned in during the second half and got to see what i wanted...Steelers made their push and tied it up and finally we saw the Pats offense come back swinging and throwing them old school Tyson left hooks!

Love how Brady and Dobson seem to be clicking as of late. Love that coaches decided to allow Ridley to keep playing, that might just be due to them realizing how much backlash there would be to continue the "pats way" there. Playing that prevent D and allowing all those yards late in the game i just hate seeing. IMO keep that pressure on the opponent even with the game in hand and show that they cant move that ball on you no matter what.

btw,

Remember what i called for before the game y'all???

got my Gronk wish

got my Ridley, Blount wishes

got my Boldin wish that turned out to be not allowed

i'm still pretty pumped that the offense got back on track and lit it up yesterday. granted, it was the steelers who haven't been great this year, but anything you hang 55 points on a team, you're firing on all cylinders. i don't care who it is that you did it to.

DCS...agreed that it's GREAT to see 12 and AD clicking. love it.

one thing i haven't heard a lot on was KT getting the healthy scratch yesterday. has anyone heard why?

yep, i was confused as to why he wasnt out there when i tuned in...didnt hear anyone ask about it after the game in the post game interviews or ones from today. you'd think someone from the media today when speaking with Josh or Bill would have brought it up.

just because things are popping up in my head, how great would it have been if Sopoaga had caught that interception i believe in the 4th quarter! would have loved to see that big boy try to run over Ben for that endzone in his first game here

btw, i earlier gave credit to the coaching staff for sticking with Ridley after the fumble and for not doing the usual "patriots way" but just thought of it again and i might have to retract that statement.

Bill said in his post game about the fumble it was more a tremendous play on Troy's part rather than a poor decision with ball handling on Ridley's part. Bill spoke very highly of the play on the ball that Troy made rather than saying it was more to blame on Ridley.

we cut austin collie today...confidence must be high in our current corp. understandably so. things appear to be progressing.

happy dude got a chance to make a comeback at least

you're right about the confidence though...they must figure on the O side of things we are finally going to have our full assortment of weapons taking the field...vereen, ridley, boldin, blount, edelman, gronk, thompkins, dobson

just pray that O line can hold up and let Tom make use of said weapons

greetings from HK fellas

just saw the Collie cut and us signing WR LaQuan Williams . Thompkins will probably come back into the fold now

glad to see Ninko was at practice yesterday , but it looks like Gregory broke his thumb and will be out for a few weeks . Harmon's going to have to step up to the plate and do his numbers

Vareen was at practice yet again and is on pace to participate next week against the Panthers . as our defense gets more and more banged up , our offense is finally getting healthy for the first time all season
