macbk: i think wind and possible rain in the forecast. those t-storms are heading up to MA. it's hot up there too i think.

this **** is scary. i knew it'd be rough but i didn't think it would be due to dropping the ******g ball. unreal.

and gostkowski staying anti-clutch per usual. at least there's some consistency there

We need brandon lloyd and deion branch back asap!

Atleast some hands thats familiar with brady

wow...what do you even say after that "win". i would say we stole that game.

defense played their ***** off. they obviously won the game. pressure, coverage, run stuffing...it was all there. outside of the defense, edelman played great. that's it though.

all we heard after the draft and coming into the season was dobson has amazing hands and never drops the ball. i understand drops happen, but god damn. hands looking more average than katie holmes in her prime.

is it fair to say our offense can only get better from here? i feel like that HAS to be the worst game we will see this year from our offense. we're going to hear about 12 getting pissed on that one 3rd down in the red zone...but i can't blame him. it's not only drops...but it's mistakes on routes and reads. it'll get better. and 12 missed a couple throws as well, so he's not free of blame. but damn...some of those drops were killer.

WE GOT THE BEST RECORD IN THE NFL

2 division wins in 2 weeks

9 day rest going into week 3

LETS......GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO

I really pray Gronk and/or Amendola aren't playing by then. If they do you guys are going to destroy us.

as of now...gronk might play. but no amendola, so you're good in that area. but expect the young receivers to play better. and expect the offense to look better with a full week of practice.

i would wait until ATL for gronk. don't rush him back cause of this. it'd be dumb. we don't need to go undefeated...we need to be healthy for november and december and the post season.

Report: Rob Gronkowski could return by Week 3, ‘will be playing’ by Week 4
NFL
By Brett LoGiurato

New England Patriots tight end Rob Gronkowski could return in Week 3 and “will be playing” by Week 4, NFL.com’s Ian Rapoport reported on Thursday.

The Patriots “hope” he will be back next week for the team’s game against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. If not, according to Rapoport, the team thinks he will “definitely” be back for the Patriots’ Week 4 showdown against the Atlanta Falcons.

Gronkowski’s condition has continued to improve in the aftermath of offseason surgeries on his left forearm and back. Last week, he practiced with the team in full pads for the first time since undergoing his surgeries. He did not play in the Patriots’ Thursday night game against the New York Jets.

Gronkowski broke his left forearm in Week 11 last season, and he re-injured it during the first quarter of the Patriots’ first playoff game. The Patriots have previously said that a late-September return is likely.

Patriots quarterback Tom Brady would be thrilled by the addition of Gronkowski to New England’s offense. In Week 1, he threw only three passes to tight ends — a position that normally has been a strength for the team with Gronkowski and Aaron Hernandez, who is now incarcerated.

Gronkowski, who has made two Pro Bowls, led the NFL in receiving touchdowns in 2011. He caught 11 touchdowns last season.

please don't rush this guy back again :smh:

Went to the game last night, was pretty ugly but enjoyable.

Brady's body language and reactions bother me, how are you going to build confidence in a young corps like this acting like he does? :smh:

Belichick was absolutely heated on the sidelines after that Mangold tackle on Talib, which looked like a really dirty play live.

cant say we stole the win when we were leading the entire game

as Edelman said after week 1 , better to have an ugly win than a pretty loss

i expect Gronk back in week 3 and wouldnt be surprised if we see Amendola too . we DEFINITELY need Bolden back to help the running game ; Ridley and Blount are not going to cut it

to be honest, it bothers me too. it's never good to show up a teammate on the field, especially the young dudes. they're trying. they're learning.

when he lost it, i'm almost certain he was yelling at edelman about a route. doesn't make it right...but edelman is the veteran guy. he can't be ******g up **** like that when he's the leader in that WR group. i mean he had a flat out awesome game, don't get me wrong. but that was a big play.

it makes you see why we've had a tough time developing WRs. you've got to be SO on your game to stay on the field in NE.

im pretty sure the yelling was to Dobson . it was directly after the play where he threw the ball at Dobson's feet at the edge of the endzone

edit -- actually you may be right

yeah maycock was saying it was dobson. but darren sharper after the game said it was edelman. cause the ball goes right by edelman and is kind of low for dobson to catch anyway unless he was supposed to cut in or something.

who knows. just glad that a goof like that (on both QB and WR) didn't cost us.

tom brady has 2 years in the tank , he took LESS money to win NOW

...he's been taking a one and done team to the AFC championship game and the superbowl

and he gets rewarded with aaron dobson and kenbrell thompkins

hernandez had off field concerns before the draft

gronkowski had injury issues in college

amendola literally almost died last year on the field

those arent excuses....all these things shoulda been expected

if theres ANYONE im mad at its the hoody trying to outsmart everyone

"defensive genius" hasnt had a elite defense in 7 years ....build the team

around tom brady and dont think twice
