***OFFICIAL NEW ENGLAND PATRIOTS SEASON THREAD*** (13-4) - Patriots @ Broncos - Sun 3:05PM EST - Bra

Injury list not looking good at all, they keep adding up :smh:

Can't really complain tho, we're looking hella good in the standings at this point at 5-1 considering all the injuries

People are gonna be talking about the Welker swap for the rest of the season :smh: I took his durability for granted

Edelman had like 4 or 5 drops but I will say he has stepped up this season

Dobson had some drops as well but is playing better, Thompkins with the TD snag :pimp:

Vellano and Jones played pretty good in the middle

Mayo :x we will def be leaning on Hightower more going forward

Hopefully Collins can help out with the pass coverage, Spikes is just too damn slow

Secondary looked strong again :pimp: Gregory playing better, Dennard gave up a td but is still looking good, Harmon filled in nicely when McCourty moved down to Corner, can't really remember how Arrington looked on the outside he played good in the slot tho. McCourty is Mccourty. Hopefully Talib isn't out long :frown:

I forgot what it's even like to have Gronk  his receiving and blocking will be a nice boost when he returns

Will be interesting to see how da hoody adjusts going foward

Arrington did his numbers -- he had the pick on the throw to Graham and had a HUGE break up on what would have been a touchdown on coverage against Graham

i forget what its like the have Gronk too  :smh: it is somewhat encouraging hearing how amazing he looked in practice last week . hopefully when he comes back he'll be very up to speed

edit -- we lead the league in salary cap dollars on the IR :smh:

how are YOU feeling?

injuries starting to pile up here. i think we still have a good shot at the W but it's going to be a tough game, no doubt.

I say there is a very good chance you smack us...I like our chances if its close though. With all your weapons injured and the way we play the run, game will be on Brady and Geno.

Advantage you :smh:

why we are still carrying Leon Washington on our roster is a complete mystery to me . hes our 5th RB option, and the dude cant have played more than 5 snaps for us so far this season

You know Belichick loves depth and versatility

He's been out of all but 1 or 2 games hopefully he can get back there and return some kicks

Amendola has a concussion, I think we all could see that tho after that hit

Hightower is leading the defensive huddles now :pimp:

As far as the Jets I think we have a good chance at winning especially if we can force Geno into some mistakes or picks. It's prolly gonna come down to defense again

Kellen Winslow is out, Gates is out and Holmes status looks up in the air

never fails each jets week...bulletin board material:

"I'm not treating him like Superman," defensive tackle Sheldon Richardson said Wednesday. "He's Tom Brady, I'm Sheldon Richardson. He's a name. He's a figure, a franchise player. I'm trying to get after him, simple as that. No one really treats him like [Superman] around here. I think he's the complete opposite of that."

Asked to name the opposite of Superman, the Jets' confident rookie smiled and said, "I'd rather not say it."

i don't see an issue with saying 12 is not superman. perfectly fine. no issue there. but to say he's the complete opposite, and to imply he's so low in your mind that your ***** *** can't even come out and say exactly what you think he is? DFOH! your name is sheldon, bro. total ***** boy name. man up and come out with it!

of all people to motivate even more

in all seriousness...not a huge deal though. im sure the media will have a field day spinning this to make it into a bigger deal than it really is. i just find it funny that EVERY time we play the jets, they just can't help themselves. they have to take shots

EDIT: no offense to any Sheldons on NT

These dudes never learn man :smh:

Sunday is the Jets' Superbowl. It's also the only meaningful game left on their schedule

Might be a tough one but im obviously expecting the Pats to win by 13+

let him flap his gums . the Jets havent beat the Pats in over 3 years

im not one to **** talk though , we'll see what happens this Sunday . personally im not too worried about this game . the Jets dont have much offense , and as much as we are injured on defense I think we'll be fine . there's no way our offense is worse than it was in our first game against them this year

good stuff with connolly. really could use him this week to help keep brady upright.

looking like gronk out for one last game. should be back next week versus miami.

interested to see how much work collie gets this weekend. he was crucial on that final drive. the pass on that 4th down conversion was out of 12's hands before collie even turned around. granted, it was an easy route, cleary 12 trusts him at least a little. i expect them to build on that this week.

where are you hearing about Gronk ?

definitely expect Collie to play a larger role . with the amount of drops from the other receivers and Amendola being out we're going to need him

Get familiar with Sheldon Richardson. Hell, get familiar with our whole D-Line. They're gonna want to put Brady on his *** all game, and not in the type of way that Brady might enjoy  .

Our secondary though, Brady will look to feast on. Really hoping Amendola and Gronk are out. Would ease things up a bit for the D, but in no way does it give the Jets a guaranteed win. Only way I see us winning is if we force turnovers and Geno doesn't give up any of his own.

where are you hearing about Gronk ?

i'm guessing like others. but everyone reporting on him is saying one more week of sitting. today his agent declared that he still hasn't been cleared for game action. so i think they'll just give him another week. he would DEFINITELY be huge to have against the jets defense.

bk...i don't expect gronk or amendola. of course, we bested y'all last time without them. i know you guys had the dropsies, but we had just as many drops in that rain. since that game, both of our teams look better offensively. should be a good one this sunday. looking forward to it. love jets week

Yep Jets talking **** as usual

I hope we come out and smash these dudes in the mouth early to set the tone for the day

It feel kinda weird playing them for the last time this season so early

I'm ready tho :pimp:

Will Gronk be used heavily right out of the gate?

Realistically. Not in a "Pats/God hates the Jets" type of way.

you a giants fan now?

i kid, i kid

i don't expect him to be used fully...not cause of the arm, but because of being in game shape and what not. he'll probably get winded relatively easily. but on important downs and redzone...he should be there. he'll be in there enough to make an impact.
