***OFFICIAL NEW ENGLAND PATRIOTS SEASON THREAD*** (13-4) - Patriots @ Broncos - Sun 3:05PM EST - Bra

What's this I hear about Browner getting a 2 year deal? Not a bad pick up imo,a welcome,6'4 addition to the secondary  :smokin. Can't wait to see the flexibility he brings us in the secondary after he's back from suspension,

Brandon Browner's agent says that he has not yet reached an agreement and that the announcement of him signing with Patriots was premature

Damn got me  |I,guess it's never really official till Schefter confirms it. Rapaport even had Sherman congratulating Browner and everything . Hopefully a deal can actually get done

Look like Browner told his seahawks teammates a deal is done but his agent is saying different

Man just having some capable bodies in the back field is going to be so refreshing. Gonna bring me back to the Milloy-Law-Clay days.

Now that I think back, the hell ever happened to Adrian Wilson?

I can't wait for Bradygod and Revis to take care of business next year. Gronk better stay healthy.
A little worried about our front line tho.

Hope they work something out...would love to have him....wouldn't mind signing a receiver cause I don't trust amendola

Since 2010, no team in the NFL has allowed more net passing yards per game (265.7), passing first downs (886), and pass plays of 25 yards or more (146) than the Patriots.

:x

Its been THAT bad. I cant believe we've won so many games with our garbage *** secondary. This is why getting Revis is so surreal to me. It actually hasnt really sunk in yet

Reports are that Browner has cancelled his meeting with Washington and is still in Massachusetts :pimp:

What is going on with Browner? :smh:

I keep hearing he signed, then im hearing he didnt, then i heard his meeting with Washington was cancelled, now it wasnt cancelled but only postponed. I do believe he will sign with us though.

Our DB's unit is going to be legit next year. Revis and Browner? McCourty, Dennard, a healthy Adrian Wilson , plus all the other talented young/depth guys?

It's been A WHILE.

the browner thing is a huge mess right now

schefter called boston sportstalk this morning and was basically like, "browner likes the idea of playing in NE and is definitely excited about a potential move. his agent's job however is to determine his market value, so browner will be visiting the ******** and saints today on friday. a deal with NE may be close, but is in no way finalized."

that's basically it. so we're high on his list, but he's checking out other teams just to make sure we're not lowballing him, which we probably are

His agent needs to not be so short-sighted.

Come to NE, play well , be on a winner, help bring the Patriots defense back from the dead, and increase your potential earnings moving Forward. :pimp: :pimp:

**** is weird Rapoport is still on twitter saying that Browner told people close to him he had a deal and Schefter was on ESPN this morning making it seem like Sherman heard about the deal from twitter and not Browner himself :rolleyes.

I guess his agent is tryna use the other teams as leverage

He already did that though.

Browner needs to get paid.  This is his last chance, he's not a young dude.

if he didn't have the whole suspension cloud over his head, he would have already gotten that big contract. teams are using that against him right now.

 @ that video

take this with a rock of salt:

Jeff Howe ‏@jeffphowe 35m
Source: Brandon Browner is negotiating a deal with the Patriots. He has no plans to leave Foxboro. Pats are his "priority."

Adam Schefter ‏@AdamSchefter 1m
Patriots and CB Brandon Browner reached agreement on a three-year, $17M deal, per @JosinaAnderson. Peter Schaffer can go play hockey.

suck it, elway :pimp:
