amendola is a waste, guys so hurt since his tam.days, not sure wht they dumped so much. should ran edlemen and welker. two pocket rocketz
I wouldn't say he's a waste, I think he can play a full season hopefully this year, everyone got on Ryan Matthews for his first few years but last season he lasted through it all and had a breakout year

I sure as hope so. I am excited by the receiving core. Edlman, Danny, Amen and Grownk. lol

Please.dont fumble ridley.

yeah i'll give danny a chance to prove himself this year. i think he can contribute.

last year he came in week 1...no gronk, rookie WR's useless. being new to the offense he was asked to a do a TON early and go injured. threw him off for the year. hopefully this year we're much healthier and have dobson and KT with a year under their belt. edelman has emerged as the security blanket. danny can worry about doing his thing and not having to be THE GUY from the get go. that what i tell myself, at least

KT with that game winner last year. Dude was my flex, Ridley was a steal for me too until he went dog house, but Edleman was god. lol Return yards and all.

Well see what Danny does, plus they have that LaFel.guy lol

Jeff Howe ‏@jeffphowe 9m
In my opinion, Revis has been way more of a difficult challenge for Brady at practice than Aqib Talib was. Revis will be lights out in '14.

:pimp:

i've never heard so many reports of brady INTs from training camp...revis really locking down whoever he's on. the cool thing is brady is embracing the challenge and opportunity to learn and still trying work that side of the field. should help both players.

and mallett and poor jimmy can barely complete a pass between revis and browner

:pimp:

One of the picks last week was on Edelman, I was seeing a tweet today about him getting a pick while on KT

It's been a good day

Forgot we got browner [emoji]128563[/emoji][emoji]128563[/emoji]

Defense gonna be nasty

Happy birthday Dad.

Favre had one of his best seasons ever at 40+. With way less punishment on his body/head, plus the advancements in medicine, i think the GOAT will be in action playing at an extremely high level for another three to four years :pimp:

The fact that Revis had his agents reach out to the Jets, and the Jets passed on signing him

Revis basically signed with the Pats out of spite. I love it.

Revis is going to do WORK this year. Hoodie with the best DB in the entire league? One of the best to ever lace them up? :x

He looks so good in a Patriots helmet :pimp:

Who thinks Hightower is going to step into that role and become a household name this year?

This is a huge opportunity for him. He still has a lot to prove IMO.

if Hightower and Collins can both take a good step forward this year, our defense is going to be straight DIRTY

chandler is still my big target for this year. want him to be harassing the hell out of opposing QBs this year. vince and tommy back in the mix should help him, as well as better secondary coverage.

How does our WRs look?

should be better than last year. so far things look good. they're A LOT farther along then they were this time last year.

edelman is edelman
amendola has another year under his belt and hopefully can stay on the field with a lightened workload off the bat.
dobson and KT have a full year and offseason under their belts. they should both improve
brandon lafell can play and as a 3rd or 4th option should do just fine.

and a healthy gronk (hopefully) makes things easier on all of them

Report: Patriots Already Working to Extend Darrelle Revis' Contract

The Patriots haven't even played a game yet, but they are already highly impressed with what they've seen from All-Pro cornerback Darrelle Revis.

According to veteran NFL reporter Jason Cole of Bleacher Report, the Patriots have already begun trying to extend Revis' two-year contract.

"What I'm hearing from the Patriots is that Revis has been so good so far that they are privately already starting to talk about extending his contract," Cole said to Bleacher Report's Adam Lefkoe. "The Patriots like what they see so much — they think they see the next Ty Law and that shutdown cover corner to really get their defense going — that they'd like to extend him out. Robert Kraft, the owner of the team, has pulled Darrelle Revis aside and started to talk to him to see if they can get a long term deal worked out."

The Patriots signed Revis to a two-year, $32 million deal in March. The deal contains a team option for the second year, which means the Patriots will either pay Revis a $12 million roster bonus or he will become a free agent once again in 2015.

Clearly, the Patriots would rather it not reach that point.

Revis has been involved in some ugly contract disputes in the past, including one in 2010 that resulted in Revis holding out of camp for 35 days. He eventually signed a four-year deal that paid him an average of $16.25 million in each of the first two seasons, but only $13.5 million total in the final two seasons. He was considering holding out again in 2012, but reported to camp on time.

The Patriots and Revis could agree to a restructured and/or extended contract at any time, according to former NFL agent and salary cap expert Joel Corry, but if Revis receives a salary increase while reworking his deal, he cannot get another raise for at least one year.
In the past, Revis has stated his desire to be the highest paid cornerback in the NFL. Robert Kraft may have to open up the check book if they want Revis to stick around beyond the 2014 season.
This is the best news to come out of camp so far.

I'd be surprised if Revis follows through on it, but I got my fingers crossed hoping it happens. If you let him hit the open market next offseason...good luck.
