***OFFICIAL NEW ENGLAND PATRIOTS SEASON THREAD*** (13-4) - Patriots @ Broncos - Sun 3:05PM EST - Bra

I'm not just saying this because "WE" are #1 in the conference...but I really wish there was a way to fast forward to the playoffs right now w/ the current snapshot of this team.

They're clicking on all cylinders and have shown the ability to win in different ways. Most importantly though, they are 100% HEALTHY at the key positions. I can't stand the thought of a stupid injury derailing another Pats season.

All that matters in the playoffs is being the hottest team w/ no major injuries and your defense having the ability to get off the field when they need to. WE are at that level right now.

Someone find a time machine and lets get that ***** done.

^Bruh I was thinking the same **** last night we are def firing on all cylinders right now.

I don't think we got to get a good look at the running D just because Colts running game is borderline non existent anyway  but the defense is still overall looking stout without two of our best players. Everyone did a good job of staying with their assignments and making sound tackles. Arrington and Revis both played well and it seemed like Collins was everywhere, Browner got cooked a few times but I can live with it

Offense man :pimp: that's the power run game we saw towards the end of the reg season last year with Blount and Ridley, nice to see that resurface again. Gray was straight running around, over, and through dudes all night. Props to the offensive line. It's amazing how we've been able to just plug guys in and keep rolling, that's a credit to the coaching staff and the players as well for stepping up.

Gronk :wow: :wow: what else can you even say about dude. On that last TD dude had it set in his mind he was NOT going down  he was also laying key blocks all night. Jimmy who? :nerd:

Edelman been dropping balls every week now it seems :nerd: he still played fairly well tho. LaFell only had 3 balls but two were huge on 3rd down so that's nice to see on two fronts, him making the big grabs but also Brady trusting him to make the big grabs.

O line were straight up MOVING in the run game but they were still beat on passing plays a few times, as evident on those 2 horrible Brady picks (tho I think they both share some of the blame on those).

All in All a very decisive victory against a top AFC/NFL team.

On to Detroit :pimp:

great win :smokin

and we should get chandler back soon :D

to think -- we were that dominant in this game and that's with two horrible TOs by Brady . a big road win is what i was looking for to feel confident saying we are the best team in the league , and this drove that point home for me

was wondering about this. have you heard on when we might see him? would love for him to be ready for GB, not sure how realistic that is though

from what ive heard -- worst case is back by the playoffs . best case is back next week , but that would shock me

I love Gronk so much for last night. That td won my fantasy game. This team may be our best since we had Dillon.

Anyone going to the Lions game? Strongly considering hitting Gillette Stadium if I'm visiting Boston this weekend.

So I see that Mr Blount force trauma is back with the team.

Pretty surprising seeing as I thought that Gray would be the guy moving forward but you can never have too much depth and Blount has performed more than adequately in the past even in the return game.

Interested in seeing if this means that there's gonna a 2 headed power rushing attack to go along with Vereen.

word. i like the move to bring him back. still think Gray will get the early carries. but blount will be the battering ram that wears teams down in the 2nd half. that's just my guess.

I'm not sure if I'm a fan with Blount resigning, seeing what happened in Pittsburgh makes me wonder if it was a good move

Bill is usually good with keeping players disciplined, I just hope this man keeps everything together in the locker room

Blount made a name for himself towards the end last season.  Didn't he have off season drug issues w/ Bell in Pittsburgh?  I'm iffy about this move.  Vereen is still that catching back.  But Gray and Blount and even Bolden look good. AS LONG YOU DONT FUMBLE!

I look at it as basically a no risk move. He's familiar with the system and produced really well last season especially during the stretch run and he was signed for the vets minimum so he can be cut loose fast if he acts up.

I just love the idea of Gray just pounding the rock for a while then coming off and bringing in some Blount force and not letting up,opposing defenses won't be able to catch a breather at all .

Anyone have any Dobson news? :nerd:. I'd prefer to see him suited up instead of Tyms this week

Blount :pimp:

BB stays buying low

Blount was one of my favorite players on the team last year he ran angry and as weird as his big *** looked back there he was pretty damn good at kickoff returns as well

He got caught with weed with Bell a few weeks before the season started I don't think anything ever happened with it tho
