***OFFICIAL NEW ENGLAND PATRIOTS SEASON THREAD*** (13-4) - Patriots @ Broncos - Sun 3:05PM EST - Bra

good stuff, man. that actually blows my mind. i feel like we ALWAYS falter coming out of the gates in the second half. guess we're not nearly that bad in previous years. thanks for finding that stuff, man :pimp:

i really am not one of those people to blame a loss on one play, but WTF was Gronk thinking on that incomplete pass???!!!

he tried to "Moss" it and he knows it by his reactions after on the sidelines

that was an easy TD if he just catches it normally and strolls in the end zone

losses really ruin my week, but time to get ready for Miami, glad Bills beat them today

#patsNation

just an overall frustrating game . there just needs to be more consistency with our team . how we went from leading 21 - 10 to down 27 - 21 is lost to me

i do expect us to come back strong next week . cant remember the last time this team has had back to back poor performances . we NEED talib back ; our secondary was porous yesterday

Gronk is much more up to speed than i expected , which is great . he palyed 51 of 79 snaps

last back to back losses happened just last year, easy to remember for me since we started the season few weeks in on a losing record, SMH

think it was weeks 2 and 3 to ravens and cardinals, not sure what order

in terms of Gronk, glad to see how well he played, minus his trying to be cute with the 1 hand catch, but teams are just going to use the formula we did to atl and gonsalez. double, triple down on Gronk and force Tom to either force it to him or try his luck at one of the other receivers. those other receivers cant even seem to get open. mind you tom has missed throws on field, but isnt it crazy to those that watch other nfl games just how open some of the receivers are. outside of Gronk, teams know we dont have a real threat to kill them on the field. heck, even if we did have say KT, Dobson or Boyce { ) get open, this O-line isnt allowing Tom time to survey the field like previous years.

^ :pimp:

glad belichick took the blame for this. chris jones actually had a decent game that is now overshadowed by this.

just heard this discussion on the radio:

bengals game: 1-12 on 3rd down
saints game: 5-15 on 3rd down
jets game: 1-12 on 3rd down

anyone left who doesn't miss welker? that's a 18 percent conversion rate on 3rd down

mike wilbon asked rob ryan "how are people taking tom's decling play?"

he said "they dont want to even touch it"

also not funny , dark years ahead =/

i mean we knew it's bound to start happening. i didn't expect it to happen this soon. i pray it's more a rut than a pattern. i feel like it's a mechanics thing that can be fixed. he's sailing throws. it's not like his arm is shot. just needs to figure out or adjust his mechanics.

lol you mean Bob Ryan , not Rob Ryan

correct -- we lost two straight last year but the 2nd game (Ravens) was well played by the Pats IMO . unfortunate 1 point loss as time expired

3rd down and red zone efficiency are both atrocious . i really dont know how we are going to solve these issues ... i am very hopeful that a healthy Amendola ( :smh: ) , a healthy Vareen and an up to speed Collie will help take so much pressure off of Gronk . honestly though my biggest concern is our defense . i know losing so many key players will negatively affect play , but our secondary went from looking top notch to straight GABBAGE in one week . hopefully this doesnt persist ...

yeah he definitely zips it when he wants , so just a few kinks to work out

as for talib , he literally catapults us another level when he's healthy....keep him on ice until

the playoffs because without him i don't know how we beat anybody in the playoffs

whatever it takes lmao

with talib wobbly...the pass rush needs to step up big time. hoping andre has his legs and can be force opposite of chandler. just need him on passing downs.

He was garbage versus the snitches. Overall though, pretty solid

interestingly enough Solder poped up on the injury report put out by the team on Friday, proceeds to have one of his worst games that i've seen against the "snitches" go figure

i usually associate "snitches" with the browns because of mangini

i literally have changed the channel sometime when he speaks on espn

Hard for me to say he's declining I just think he lost faith in the receivers enough that it's in his head....he's not throwing with confidence...throws he was making to gronk were throws he wouldn't make to anybody else on that team except amendola but that fool stay hurt

vereen could be his security blanket , i think healthy vereen and gronk

solves some...not all....of our problems

as does a healthy talib for the defense

It has to improve and I think it will. There's been flashes of it all coming together, but then it feels like they take two steps back. Pass protection is becoming a bit of an issue, but that too should improve.

Amendola and Talib both present at practice

may i also sad i was VERY happy to see Slater back on the field last Sunday

Always a plus to have Slater out there manning the troops and making plays on ST.

I want them to take it slow with Amendola. Dude is literally a walking injury. Sit down for a couple weeks and get your body right before being thrown right back into the gauntlet to get destroyed once again. I feel the same way about Talib but to a lesser degree. The defense is absolutely atrocious without him out there.

Logan Ryan fined $10K for his touchdown celebration last week  :x

that boy Tommy Kelly still MIA :smh: can we place this guy on IR or some **** ? been almost 3 weeks
