I'd like to get this one thing behind us and have the NFL come out and say that they don't have any evidence showing intentional tampering of the footballs for the AFCCG. Even though it's on the back burner and other teams are catching their own hear which goes un-noticed by the national media or casual fan, I don't want that thing lingering around through free agency.

Word and don't people always talk about how dominant the NFC was back in those days? Its like the nfc title game was the superbowl . There was a period where NFC teams won 12 straight suberbowls iirc so there's a huge difference in terms of parity between the 2 eras. I doubt Joe would've been able to duplicate a run like that in the naughts
