Proud of my boys...heal up and reload...

No qb in the league can do what Brady did this season

We had a great season considering everything that has happened. But we'll be back next year as always :pimp:

i didn't get to watch the game at all but it sucks to hear that we lost from some random bird that walks in my job SMH

I didn't think we'd make it this far honestly with the roster we had, before the start and half way throughout the season we lose so many key players

just on offense alone

Hernendez=couldnt keep outta the streets

Gronk=dudes career will amount to penny or grant hill status soon with all these injuries NFLs D.Rose SMH

Welker=sleeping wight the enemy, I'm sure this victory was so sweat for him... i miss him SMH

Defense...

Wilfork=goes down, MAJOR blow

Mayo=out, another captain, MAJOR blow

Spikes=out

Kelly=done before he starts

Aqib=never really been 100%

if we can get our Offence straight with more weapons like big bodied receivers we'd be straight

and if we get all those from our D on point and healthy, i don't see why we can't make t back to the AFC title game, go to the Super Bowl and win the whole thing!

Some key offseason pickups (that can follow the patriot way of course) a couple of good draft picks and we should be set

it was a good season fellas, lost a lot of game we should have won but overall i couldn't ask for more given the injuries

broncos deserved to win that game today. no if's and but's about it. they earned it.

i knew if we went down more than a score and had to start airing it out we'd be screwed. you can't expect to do that with edelman, collie, and amendola as your wide receivers. no shot. there isn't a single outside threat there. dobson played obviously, but he wasn't really a factor. was just too much to overcome today. proud we got this far and made it at least somewhat interesting at the end.

and would still take TB12 over any QB in this league. no one's taking this team as far as he did this year. i don't want to say the front office let this team down, but to have one injury to one receiver (gronk) kill this team is terrible. they reacted pretty poorly to the exit of welker and hernandez knowing gronk was a big question mark. they gave this team nothing in terms of reliable receivers.

no doubt that talib is a big time corner, but if you can't stay healthy, you're useless. do not resign him. he's not as dominant as a gronk which is why i think it's not worth dealing with his injuries. second year in a row he's gone down in this conference championship game. and our defense died as soon as he went out.

should we turn this into the offseason thread? assume no one cares if we just do that, right?

Here is a list of the Patriots' 20 free agents heading into the offseason.

Unrestricted:
RB LeGarrette Blount
DE Andre Carter
WR Austin Collie
WR Julian Edelman
LB Dane Fletcher
TE Michael Hoomanawanui
TE Matthew Mulligan
LB Brandon Spikes
T Will Svitek
CB Aqib Talib
C Ryan Wendell

Restricted:
LS Danny Aiken

want us to draft another tight end in the draft man , those two tight end sets where freaking sweet

besides that a center a guard and maybe a power back would be nice

TE and OL need to be addressed for sure, man. i dunno what's there at LB for later round, but we need someone there as well. i think we're OK at WR but taking one in the later rounds might be a good idea. i think dobson and KT with a full offseason would be pretty good if we can get gronk and another pass catching TE out there.

pass rush needs to be addressed too. chandler jones was absolutely ghost yesterday. he's taken some steps, but i was hoping he'd be more of an impact guy by now. third year next season is when he needs to start taking games over. prove he's first round talent. but we need an edge rusher of some sort. we generated ZERO pressure on peyton yesterday and they were just as banged up as we were on their offensive line.

I Think We need another 6'7 or 6'8 TE. Also try to draft Another Tall DB to put on the other side of Talib.

I Think We need another 6'7 or 6'8 TE.

he's not 6'7"....but check out the highlights for jace amaro. LOVE this guy. he's like 6'5" or 6"6"...but he's a matchup nightmare and can catch the ball. not as fast as gronk probably, but he's fast enough and can get open.

edelman and blount are the only FA i care if we keep

if we let go of Talib , we need to get another physical DB . as good as Dennard has been at times , he was FOOD to Demarius yesterday . we need another TE and honestly i want us to grab a strong , physical WR

maybe brandon spikes to have some depth at line backer

i think spikes got himself out of NE with his late season stuff (late to practice, etc).

sucks cause he adds toughness and some bulk to our run defense. would love to have him back. but i don't think he comes back. he apparently traded helmets with hightower today as they packed up their lockers. so sounds like he doesn't expect to be back

Brady took responsibility for an overthrow to an open Julian Edelman streaking toward the end zone during the first half that would have given New England some key points, as well as momentum.

"That's one I think about that impacted the outcome of the game from my standpoint," Brady said. "I need to hit that throw. That's a throw I'm capable of making and I make nine out of 10 times, but I didn't make it yesterday.

"When you get in games like this and the margin of error's slim, you've got to make those plays and I didn't make it. Sometimes it's not turnovers that affect games, sometimes it's missed opportunities, and I missed that opportunity."

hope you guys don't feel too down or falsely happy about this season

i mean keep it in perspective - an organization abetting or at least enabling a murderous thug for years
do you really care what positive things happen to them?
i don't get all riled up over da pats no more
