***OFFICIAL NEW ENGLAND PATRIOTS SEASON THREAD*** (13-4) - Patriots @ Broncos - Sun 3:05PM EST - Bra

Yeah he did. I thought I was mistaken since it was ESPN reporting it. But then again, it was ESPN reporting it :smh:

I believe he counts just $1 mil against the cap this year.

Happy for Vereen, get that money pleighboi :pimp: He was a big part of our season/SB

I know they definitely had this in mind when they made that James White, they raved all offseason about this dude now is his time to step up.

Haven't heard anything else about Helu since yesterday but I do wonder what type of numbers he's seeking.

Browner's market is shaping up at $7M to $8M, as I said yesterday. Pats allowed him to seek his value, probably to work out a longer deal.

I'm sure Mayo would be open to restructuring, he loves it here and n amazement loves him too. Don't think they can do anything in regards to his contract until he's 100% back healthy.

I was just thinking, why in the world would the team even entertain the idea of cutting Browner unless they know that Revis is in the cut? We'd be without our top 2 starting corners in that case...

30 minutes till the madness begins gentlemen

Officially panic time bruhs :frown:

AdamSchefter@Adamschefter:
Sense out of New England is that Darrelle Revis is likely to be a Jet, per sources. NE still will make final push. Not over yet.

Yep Mayo has a 4.5 mil injury guarantee and they can't restructure his contract until he passes his physical

Edit: man :smh:

Both Revis and Browner are officially free agents right now, very low likelihood of keeping both now. If we do end up losing both, the fo NEEDS to start focusing on building a mean pass rush

The Giants keep mopping up our seconds  :smh:,Casillas just signed with them.

Man what's stopping Kraft from pulling a Stephen Ross with Revis? There's really no reason for them to try to be cheap with someone of Revis' caliber...

Jabaal Sheard is visiting the Pats tonight. No deal yet.

:nerd:

Didn't see much of him last year with the Browns, any good?

i need someone to make sense of this day for me from our perspective

Ben Volin @BenVolin · 55m 55 minutes ago
AFC Championship Game teams had opposite days: Pats subtract Revis, Browner & Wilfork, Colts add Gore, Trent Cole & maybe Andre Johnson

Good way to sum it up :smh:.

Apparently Sheard is a pretty good pass rusher,he has 23 sacks in 4 seasons...
