the legend of edelman is taking off :pimp:

i've said it before in here, but i couldn't be more happy to be wrong about the dude. i (along with a lot of others) used to call him mr. august. i'm so glad he took advantage of wes leaving town and stepped up like he has.

preseason was his time to shine. he'd play in the regular season and get hurt. he'd appear here and there but didn't do much. he'd put the ball on the ground.

he's come a long way

BB's bread and butter is usually those late round picks/undrafted guys. Hes more or less missed out on the majority of his early picks with a few exceptions (Donta/Chandler/Collins/Dmac etc). I also hope that Easley can stay healthy,he has talent and can hopefully be a part of a much more lively pass rush next year.

I'm also interested in seeing in AD can finally find his place in the receiving core. He's probably the fastest receiver we have so he could still be useful imo.

I think thats a major advantage in having BB running the whole operation.

Theres no pressure from the FO to play a guy just because he was a top pick. If BB makes a bad draft choice in the first round, and he's made plenty, he's not going to let that dictate his roster.

I just always wanted Edelman to keep learning under Wes cause I knew he would be gone one day. They said he used to annoy wes cause he was always on his back trying to learn  it paid off

been a huge fan of Edelman for a while . ever since dude was playing corner back 3 seasons ago ; dudes versatility is unmatched

People always love to compare him to Welker for obvious reasons but imo he's a current day Troy Brown with his heart and versatility.

Spot on for Jules is nothing like Wes.  Belichick has been comparing him to Troy Brown for year's now.

Anyone read that new "report"? It really makes zero sense to me why the team would want an underinflated kicking ball when it's usually the harder they are the further they go. One of the main constants in all these leaks/stories is the person responsible for starting the investigation, the VP of game operations, Mike Kensil who's name some of you might recognize as he used to be the director of operations for the Jets...:rolleyes.

How the league keeps allowing these all these leaks and allegations to get out there in the middle of an investigation beats me. It's a pretty irresponsible way of conducting an investigation. There really hasn't been any news of any actual substance from the league since the investigation began, nothing but leaks from "sources" just fueling more speculation.

I saw that report last night and all I did was :smh:

First of all, I think at this point we just need to wait until the NFL actually makes a statement. And I agree that these media leaks are getting out of hand. These "sources" leak bits and pieces of a story when we need the entire story in order to figure out what really went down if anything. It's like ESPN was thirsty for breaking news on this.

In regards to the actual story, it doesn't really make any sense like you said. Why would you want to use a kicking ball when you're being accused of wanting to use deflated footballs?

Word it feels like reporters are just throwing stuff on the wall and waiting to see what sticks with the league not releasing anything yet. Can't wait for this whole thing to wrap up and the hopefully the team gets exonerated and that apology that Kraft wants.

Gillette's looking like the Wall from Game of Thrones right now
