***OFFICIAL NEW ENGLAND PATRIOTS SEASON THREAD*** (13-4) - Patriots @ Broncos - Sun 3:05PM EST - Bra

I know some of y'all can get me tickets for the raider game for a decent price. Where's the NT Brethren discount?

i cant wait. im curious about the runningnposition though. is ridley the main guy? hes never been the same, since that KO blow to the head. hes been a fumbling guy, but still very effective at times

Ridley at this time is the main guy as Blount is out of NE

Vereen isn't still 100% on that wrist yet and won't be for a little

James White is suppose to be getting some burn this year, but Ridley is playing for a contract essentially so I expect big things out of him

yeah i think Ridley is the guy. as long as he can hold the ball, he's the guy. that leash is going to be short though.

players on PUP list to start camp:

Dennard - knee
Dobson - foot
Gallon - undisclosed
Kelly - ACL
Slater - undisclosed
Easley - NFI but is recovering from the knee as we all know
Finch - NFI
Martin - NFI
Skinner - NFI

the first six on that list are the more important guys at this point. most of those guys are all recovering from injuries from last year and offseason procedures. i love that Gronk is not on that list. was also interesting how when asked last week, he didn't give the typical, "day by day" bs but actually said he's gunning for week 1. good sign.

Great thing to wake up this morning and see a notification saying Gronk wasn't on the PUP list! :D

Dobson is going to eat this season. Wouldn't be surprised if he doubles his output this year or next.

agreed Champ. if Dobson can get that foot right, i expect him to be THE outside guy this year for us.

Dobson has the speed and ability I just hope he can stay healthy , I'm expecting a big season for him and edelman as him, if amendola stays healthy and can play like the receiver he's supposed to be I expect an 70 plus catch season for him

man i know it's only day one of camp...but these writers and talking heads are all taking the easy low hanging fruit and hammering the WR situation. that's not going to be the problem this year. it's going to be PASS RUSH PASS RUSH PASS RUSH. even Revis is useless if that pass rush doesn't show more consistency. Chandler Jones is in my cross hairs this year in terms of the guy that needs to take it to the next level. more consistency. more intensity. and more production. and all of that in crunch time. not when we're up three scores.

Nink and Jones are good it's hard to be consistent when they play so many damn downs tho :smh:

I do agree tho pass rush should def be a main priority

thats a good point. heard something today that Ninko played 90% of defensive snaps last year. pretty nuts. Jones was probably in a similar boat. speaks to our lack of depth at DL and OLB

Yeah they led the league  :smh:

Jones played 1,124 of 1,148, 98 percent :x
Nink played 1,096 of 1,148, 95.5 percent :x

Da Based Gawd Brady will lead da Pats to da Promised land once again.

been hearing some things about today's practice:

- tempo was pretty fast (as expected)
- brady pretty sharp
- thompkins with some nice highlight reel catches, but a couple drops
- danny amendola the only WR that received corrective instruction on a couple routes/plays (a little concerning even though it's early)
- gronk appeared to move pretty well

Jeff Howe ‏@jeffphowe 34s
Offense not nearly as crisp today but Brady and the first team finished strong in last two team drills.

Not a good day for Garoppolo. Intercepted by Chris White and Daxton Swanson, among the many incompletions.

Jeff Howe ‏@jeffphowe 2m
Very active day for Vereen catching passes. White ran the wrong route and drew some ire for it.

Garoppolo's a project, man. Long development time, there will be growing pains. Long-term payoff is well-worth the investment and frustration.

amendola is a waste, guys so hurt since his tam.days, not sure wht they dumped so much. should ran edlemen and welker. two pocket rocketz
