Mayo would be a big lost if he's out for the whole year hopefully he isn't, same with Ridley

Matchup with Jets for TNF

 hopefully it'll be a blowout

Chicago and Denver the weeks following that, if we can win all those games or drop one before the bye we are looking promising to getting a headstart on the AFC #1 seed

Thinking we will pick up a LB if Mayo stays down to add some leadership and experience

^ there are some decent names on the FA list right now at LB. not sure about current health of those players, but if we need to, there are guys to be had. we'll see if BB pulls the trigger. we've got the cap space i believe

whos out there ? i miss dane fletcher |I

so not sure about health and suspensions...but the names that stick out are nick barnett, pat angerer, london fletcher. no one is going to come in at pro bowl level, but they can't hurt at this point. again, not sure about their health and status with suspensions and what not.

just rewatched the offensive drives in a condensed fasion. some more things that stuck out:

penalties: way too many false starts and holding penalties. made it a lot tougher on ourselves and this has been an issue all season long so far. we gotta get it corrected. i'll give em a pass on the false starts today due crowd noise. but still. get it together.

josh mcdaniels: A ******* plus on the halftime adjustments. was calling plays right off the start that got the ball out of brady's hands quick. really allowed our offensive line to get some confidence and rhythm. helped that unit solidify their game the rest of the way. loved seeing him stay aggressive and throw once it was clear the run game wasn't there. good to see we can get it done one dimensionally against a serious pass rush, with the band geek and cannon playing significant minutes.

long down coversions: the penalties and failed runs put us in some long downs. the offense converted time after time in the 2nd half. really good to see. gronk, julian, and lafell were huge here. really made it happen today.

That's all we ask for. Give him time & get open.

One thing that sucks about the injuries piling up is there's a quick turnaround vs. the Jets this Thursday. Yeah it's the Jets, but it's another group that can attack the QB and you know Rex is gonna be sending them. So it's #protectbrady once again.

I pray Mayo has a sprained MCL or something and it's not the worst.

We were laughably thin on LB depth before this and now we lose our best for who knows how long.

Same for Ridley. Hope it's nothing more than a sprain he can recover from quickly. James White activated for TNF?

Maybe Dan Connolly comes back for the Jets game. Also curious to see which of the Easley, Hightower, Stork group returns or they hold off for extra rest. Something tells me we won't see Browner and they'll give him the extra time to get ready.
I hate to make any early laughs, but it's the JETS. lolz

M.Sanchez was the laughing stock.  NOW?  LOLZ  Well, GENO SMITH is clowning too.  Career days for our DBs?  Revis at least 1 INT? LOLZ.

that dude Cannon is good for a holding call a game . lafell also makes a few boneheaded penalties from time to time , whether its a false start or offensive pass interference on pick plays

still shocked this dude amendola is such a non factor . he has to at some point get some touches , right ... ?

i rather see guys make mistakes now. see them mess up, so they can work on their counts and etc. but its clear, amendola has not been a factor for what? 2 years?

on the bright side, these guys should and hopefully come up big, cuz edlemen is on everyones scouting report, lol

Yeah wtf is going on with Amendola ?

Goes from LEADING THE LEAGUE IN YARDS. To this

Honestly though, other dudes are picking up his slack so i dont really care.

He must be a good practice player or somethin

I know he already got paid , but why is dude even on the roster at this point  Midas Whale get Boyce back on the squad

Just remembered that Tyms made that grab last night :wow:

Deep ball Brady back ? Its been a while

TNF this week :x Gross

no -- Boyce can sit his *** down somewhere . dude was completely useless in our offense

give me Thompkins back instead ...

Amendola still on the squad and dressing cause Belichick is too proud to admit he ****** up on that signing. if he sat him down after giving him that contract over Wes, he'd look REAL bad (or even worse i guess)

i still find it funny Brady mentions Amendola when talking about how everyone is stepping up and making big contributions. dude is like, "Yeah well we got great contributions from everyone today...Julian, Rob, Brandon, Danny, Brian, Shane." LMAOO at mentioning Danny

Anyone have any update on Ridley and Mayo? It looked pretty bad for them |I.

Loving the new found explosiveness on offense again. The Wright + Gronk sets open up so much space that even Lafell has been able to flourish over the last few weeks  :smokin. I'm guessing we'll be seeing less and less of Dobson with Tyms back? Wouldn't even mind,he looked like our best deep threat so far this season. Also loved seeing more and more flashes of old Gronk as the weeks move along,he's looking almost 100% :smokin.

no official word yet, but we should hear pretty soon i think. i think we can assume they're both done for a while though. pretty big holes to fill. we all know what the loss of mayo did last year to our run defense in particular (vince being out didn't help, of course).

Yea some sources are saying that the team feels like Ridley tore his acl :x. He's gonna be a big loss. By far the best pure runner on the team, hopefully Bolden(or James White?) and Vereen can fill in efficiently.

Yeah Mayo's contributions to the defense is unquestionable and are definately gonna be missed. We were already thin in that area :smh:. I really feel for him,it feels like he has a serious injury almost every season lately :\. He's a straight up pro bowler when healthy. I'm hoping that Hightower's gonna be coming back soon to help fill in that void.

Line is 10 1/2 on Thursday...

Even though I'ma Jets fan, I've picked against them the past three weeks and they've held me down. Thursday night games often end up being blowouts so that would make me think the Jets could get run off the field. But your offense has been so lights out the past two weeks I expect some regression to the mean. Plus, you guys got very banged up yesterday, which are you thinking (obviously Ridley/Mayo are done) might as well be out. Cause if you are banged up, I'd think lean toward saying the game might be a little closer. Plus, the Jets tend to play well at Foxboro.

Deadset and co., what you guys think?

10.5 is too much . Patriots have been terrible covering the spread the past few years when double digit favorites . we'll most likely win the game , and maybe cover the spread but id stay away from taking the Pats

agree with Prez. that 10.5 line is way too much. short week and lots of injuries to adjust for. i think around 6 is more accurate.

i expect the jets to run the piss out of the ball. keeps brady off the field. attacks our weakness right now on defense. makes sense that the jets will try and run and keep it low scoring.
